Good question.

Whether we're governed by Democrats or Republicans is increasingly irrelevant when the overall drift is towards statism and less freedom.

Importing people who will accelerate that process shouldn't be a priority of federal lawmakers.

I think it is stupid to talk about cutting entitlements. What you talk about is sound budgets and work to move entitlements from the federal level to the state level then let the states decide what they want to do with them. The only way to win is to divide and conquer. It’s much easier to sell things like welfare reform and getting rid of Obamacare than to talk about getting rid of medicare.

Sure I want to cut entitlements. I want them gone. No one should be entitled to other people’s money. However there is no way we are going to succeed politically attacking medicare directly. What we can do is stop doing stupid crap like expanding it which GW Bush and many GOP Governors have done under Obamacare.

Our business people need to stop selling out our own country, and get on board with bringing back jobs, right here to America.

Trump is saying this all the time.

That is why, he is leading. It is very simple.

Republican donor class wants cheap labor and workers that’ll actually work.

Democrats want to brown out the nation. They’ll use the leftist school system to indoctrinate Hispanics how they are oppressed and need to rely on food stamps and Section 8 instead of working for the evil white man.

Both parties have sold out the middle class.

Whites suffering from the terrible economy of RINOs and Demonrats aren’t having kids. They also suffer from feminazi propaganda that being a mom is evil. Men can get sex easily and avoid marriage because of terrible divorce laws.

The problem is a spiritual systemic rot of the country.

One election or one policy change won’t save us.

If Trump truly reforms the tax system I have to think he’ll cut the backdoor welfare checks for EITC (Earned Income Tax Credit). It’s a start.

Cutting Entitlements should be as incremental as Expanding Entitlements.

First, make sure no Illegal Invaders get a dime of Taxpayer Funded Welfare Programs including the EITC scam.

Second, attack the Fraud and Waste these type of Programs create. The idea of just mailing a Check to someone and not checking on how that Taxpayer Money is spent is outrageous.

Third, consolidate the ridiculous amount of Programs into something that reduces all the costs and waste in using overlapping Agencies.

Fourth, create a Free Economy that produces Jobs so people don’t depend on the Government to sustain themselves. Stop making Welfare more profitable than having a Job.

Well, it’s a start.

As my Dear Late Mother always said, you help People who CAN’T help themselves, not People who WON’T help themselves.

Food Stamps should only be used in four places in a grocery store
1. The produce area
2. Dairy (Except deli)
3. Fresh meats (Except deli)
4. Soaps and cleansers - both personal and household

No soda, no packaged foods, no canned foods, no frozen foods, no diapers, no chips or snacks. Nope, not even bread, or pasta. If they want those things get a job. If they want a starch buy potatoes, taro or pumpkins.

Please note I am not a health food advocate but if the poor are going to spend MY taxes to purchase food they are not going to buy junk.

This would not directly save any money but would eliminate the wasteful ways that food stamps are used and by default create a healthier eating culture.

Learning how to cook is a job skill

I think Trump is saying what everyone else in America is saying:

Stop giving to illegal immigrants...go back to your own countries and if you want to come to America, do it legally...

They are using up our food stamps, housing, medical, social security and for what, they haven’t worked a day in their life here...

But yet OUR VETERANS who protect our freedoms are being treated worse than an illegal alien!!!

TRUMP ALL THE WAY ON THIS ONE!!!

If it was up to me, there would be Food Stamp Distribution Centers setup like Food Banks in Urban Areas.

I agree with every point you have made on this thread not excluding your observation about systemic spiritual rot. I also believe that we have an obligation to pursue policy change and election success even as we pray.

Do you therefore support potentially profound changes which might be gained through Article V?

The damage done to this country (20 trillion in debt; 100 trillion in unfunded future liabilities — more wealth than exists in the entire world) has set us on course for a Soviet-style collapse.

There are already plans to create a “North American license” allowing travel freely throughout North America. Mexico isn’t even considered a foreign country by Western Union these days.

The U.S. will break apart without a shot being fired. After that it’ll be chopped up in to new mini-nations, most at a 3rd world economic level.

I don't support Trump-or any of the candidates at this point-but his immigration platform is unimpeachable.

I wish more "serious" candidates had the intellectual curiosity to actually question their faith in open borders and consult an expert on this subject, like Senator Jeff Sessions-one of the few politicians who's actually admirable.

Plus, I don't see how Republicans are going to break the lock Democrats have on the Electoral College, short of nominating Trump.

I'm not saying Trump necessarily will win, but I don't see any other major GOP candidate who comes closer to defeating Madame Hillary.
