Sen. Marco Rubio knows hes in Donald Trumps crosshairs, but says hes more focused on getting his message across to American voters than to spend energy on the real estate mogul.
In an interview with Fox News Latino, Rubio, a Florida Republican, said that he didnt think Trumps offensive remarks about Latinos would alienate the electorate from the GOP. At the same time, he said, Trump has to be held accountable for his controversial comments and positions.
Rubio expressed exasperation over the billionaires antics, and said the election needed to be focused on substance and details about what policies a candidate would push and try to implement if elected president.
Hes going to do what hes going to do, Rubio said. This campaign is about serious things.(continued)

Marco Rubio is a great orator, similar to our current BIC, albeit with authenticity, unfortunately appealing to passion and emotion. In a political atmosphere other than the current "perfect storm" of destructive war by internal domestic enemies of our Republic and the Constitution on which it is based, he would be an appealing candidate.
But we would be denying reality to consider him a viable candidate under present political and social conditions.
His stand on illegal immigration is an unconditional deal breaker for me.
Another time perhaps.
This trite 'opinion' of Trump at this time is confirmation of his inability to face the facts that demand something other than GOPe 'business as usual.'
Can't get any more clueless than that!.
From a legal American citizen of Latino ancestry...
If Rubio can't sgree that, as Mexico does, that a common language define a nation, there may more wrong with him than his endless series of "We can't..." when dealing with ILLEGAL alien invaders.
Is there a Fox News Caucasian?
didn’t think so
Rubio Buddy, you’re not ready for such a high office even after all the time you’ve already spent in govt. Trump on the other hand was born ready.
“Anyone who wants to start WW3 over Syria has no business being anywhere near the White House”
+1
Marco Rubio, AKA Trump’s latest apprentice.
I don’t doubt Trump has announced more policies than anyone else. He’s held more policies than anyone else. The question is which policy does he actually believe in? The ones he had when he praised Obama in 2009?
Rubio & company won’t stop until more US workers are systematically replaced with foreigners.
I surfed past FNC last evening and just happened to land there when they were puffing Rubio. They apparently had a guy live and travel around with Marco and his Missus for several days and video their hours. Cozy.
Go away, Rube.
If you employed the tried and trued art of research and listening you would have already answered your own question and not needed to waste your time and effort to hear your keyboard roar.
The Kid was thrilled the GOPe asked him to support their Amnesty.
We got your message Rubio we want TRUMP someone with Gonads. Not another RINO.
Speaks the man that polls at 5%! Could it be his PRO AMNESTY is the real issue? Any one polling at 5% at this time should drop out your message is not selling to the Voters.
I’d chose Cruz/Lt Col. Allen West if I had my pick.
Carson comes in a close second.
If you knew anything about Trump, you’d wonder why he could be happy about Obama in 2009. He was old enough to know better - IF he had ANY conservative leanings.
But arguing with a Trumpster is like arguing with a liberal about gun control - facts don’t matter. Trump is going to save America by being an ass to everyone he meets.
it’s more like ,,,,,,,,,,,,, GOOD BYE RUBY TUESDAY !!!
Did your dog eat your homework too?
BTW, I am a Cruz supporter and donator. Sure goes to show you just how much of a projectionist you are.
