What does Salon know about Conservatives, anyway?
They only know the caricature they have created in their own heads, and have never shown the least interest as to whether conservative applies to them in any way.
But it is an object of great mirth for them to point at and laugh.

Exactly. As if Salon is on some kind of mission to defend True Conservatism. They do not have the collective brain-power to even recognize the concepts, let alone appreciate them. All they can do in any subject is parrot the liberal party line.
