Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee's comments that President Barack Obama is marching Israelis to "the door of the oven," sparked an immediate rebuke from Jewish groups and the President himself, but Donald Trump's special counsel Michael Cohen said he doesn't think that Trump finds those words offensive.
"I don't think so," Cohen, executive president of the Trump organization, told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day" on Monday. "I think what [Huckabee is] really trying to say is we're in a bad place," adding that he has personally lost family members in the Holocaust and does not want to see it happen again.
"He's okay with these words? Israelis to the doors of the oven," Cuomo pressed.
"What Trump is trying to say is a nuclear Iran is the destruction of this world," Cohen said. "What we need is a strong America. if you have a strong America you have a strong world. If we have a weak America, we have a weak world."(continued)

If Trump does not get the nomination, but he gets the Republicans to show some backbone and stay on message - and win - I will say that he has accomplished his message.
Man it sure is.
What a turnabout in a matter of weeks.
All we needed was someone to start kicking serious ass, and then kick them again.
I feel sorry for his detractors, they could be enjoying this too, but NO, it's too good to be true for them.
Now that Trump has proven that the MSM can’t control EVERY candidate, we may see the floodgates break open.
I really like Cohen.
Do you know what happens to people who are irradiated by nuclear explosions. They are burned to a crisp like in the holocaust ovens. If I ran launches a nuclear attack on Israel that is exactly what will happen to the Jews. They will be burned to a crisp like in the holocaust.
There is really nothing outrageous about what Huckabee said. This is a very life threatening situation.Boy! The media is on the ropes.
I don’t know a lot about Cohen but he certainly makes a good impression here.
I’ve seen two other Cohen interviews and he is ferocious just like his boss Trump. I also one interview of Trump’s chief of staff. One thing that jumps out is that Trump’s lieutenants are very polished and ferocious street fighters like Trump. They also play to win. That is so obvious.
Good points. I have noticed that Trump's people are indeed very, very tough. Cohen has been powerful in every interview I have seen.
No doubt Trump can pick out the right talent.
It is quite obvious to me that Trump’s team is very accustomed to taking hard hits and turning them around and counter attacking. His organization seems very seasoned and very used to New York style street fighting. They know what their roles are and what they need to do when the going gets tough. I think that is why Trump has risen so fast in the polls. When attacked they counter attack and they know how to win. Trump’s people are a tough bunch. Very tough!
I'm getting the impression you're one of them...
