Isn’t the FITS News guy the dirtbag that accused Nikki Haley of having an affair with him?

I’m telling you guys, he and Trump are pulling a rope-a-dope on the press.
Trump’s got the money, Cruz is the leader. Trump is bringing the issues to American’s kitchen table. Cruz is going to come forth as the guy who can solve the problems. Trump backs out and throws financial support to Cruz.
These guys are chess players, and the media, and left is walking right into their trap.

good news - time to rededicate to backing and funding him through the long haul...

Hopefully the big mouths who don't actively support anything with either produce a swimming Obama or get off the porcelain pools....

Hey thanks for posting this. I’ve been donating and I was wondering how the end of June moneybomb worked out. I saw once email from his people thanking us and stating they had exceeded the goal but it was not specific on how much. I don’t care who is playing populist with the media, in so many things, follow the money and cruz is riding high.

Occasional missteps?!? Like knowing and understanding the constitution like no other politician in our time? Like wielding constitutional law like a broadsword at a moor’s neck? Like when he bludgeoned just about every single leftist propagandist reporter with accurate facts and statements totally demolishing their attempts to slander and defame him leaving them quivering masses of discredited jello? More missteps, please...

I follow Charlie Daniels and I’ve seen him respond to liberals criticizing some of his songs for being representing of Southern pride (ie Racist.) he calmly and patiently explained the obvious significance of the music and destroyed the liberals comments with courtesy. I got the distinct impression that the man possesses a very high IQ and is simply humble about it, but it shines bright whenever he voices his opinion.

Thanks for the links, as always.

Brit Hume was on Fox News this AM and said that Trump has taken a lot of the wind out of Cruz's sails by being even more outspoken and angry, and that he is appealing to people who are fed up with the establishment GOP. I don't recall if he used the term "tea party" or not.

While it makes for fun TV, I don't think that anger is a really a good emotion for winning elections. I remember an old study that said that usually the more positive candidate has the advantage. (Reagan vs. Carter, Reagan vs. Mondale, Clinton vs. Bush 1, Bush 2 vs. Gore, etc.)

None the less the polls seem to support his theory. Neither Cruz nor Trump are close to having a majority of the GOP support them, they are trying to get to 15% to be in first place. In the last week Trump has surged, pushing Cruz further down in the polls.

"A month ago we heard 24/7 from the Cruz haters propagandists that Ted Cruz was toast"

Fortune smiled on Ted Cruz and gave him a rare second chance to correct his position on Trade Promotion Authority and being the smart man he is, he flipped flopped on the issue. Had he not gotten that second chance his support would be much thinner. He is once again on my acceptable list. I want to see a few debates before I commit. Thus far I like Trump, Carly, Paul, Cruz and maybe even walker.

He’s gone out of his way to assume the mantle for “most despised”, right wing loony and has drawn the progressive hate machine off all the other candidates - especially Cruz.

But one idea where Trump could leave his mark on history is if he would lead financially, operationally and organizationally a grassroots ground army for the Article V movement. The movement is presently in the capable hands of the COS Project with notables like Mark Levin. But operationally it needs financing and it needs management of the ground game where for example the ground operatives would have a coordinated plan to canvas and communicate with key state legislators.... I really think a person like Trump could get it done.

From your lips to The Donald's ear, Hostage!!! That would be amazing! He'd go down in history as one of the greatest American heroes of all time.

My sense is there are many willing hearts who'd gladly work for a COS for proposing Amendments, and through the ratifying convention. But finance, operations, and organization seem to be in short supply....

Agree. Team up w/Mr. Constitution - Ted Cruz.

Trump’s executive talents would go far.

Agree. Team up w/Mr. Constitution - Ted Cruz.

I notice that Ted Cruz is not running around bad-mouthing Trump these days, like so many of the other candidates [E.g., Rick Perry, Chris Christie] and "talking heads" [e.g., Charles Krauthammer] are doing.

Cruz is not only the "smartest guy in the room, any room," but his behavior is gracious and honorable.

Cruz made it clear from the get go he would not knock other candidates....I don’t think that meant he wouldn’t suppoert them if they were knocked by others though....just as he said that Trump should not have to apologize for his statements on immigration.

I really like Cruz. More than any other candidate for the GOP presidential nomination.

But he has such an uphill battle to wage before he can secure that result.

He has to "fight" his own party — the establishment GOP regards him as a total outsider respecting their institutional concerns and commitments; a subversive, an interloper, and quite possibly a mentally unbalanced person.

If feel pretty sure Senator Cruz is aware of these party dynamics and that they are designed to put a roadblock in front of him, that he must not succeed as a candidate, by virtue of the fact that he is definitely off the "orthodox" party "reservation."

Cruz has to be off the official party reservation, because he thoroughly understands, and is genuinely committed to, the requirements of the U.S. Constitution — of which he is an expert.

Does the establishment GOP care one whit about the U.S. Constitution these days? More specifically, does their "golden boy," Jeb Bush? He of "Common Core" fame?

I am wishing Senator Ted Cruz godspeed in all regards. Not so much, Jeb Bush.

Go here on his up and coming 2 dayer @ the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs....

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3308752/posts

IMHO keep an eye on this swaray, Big Dollar Donors, could this be a tipping point of those sick of the rest of the field (and that these folks are constitutional conservatives and have had it like us, and are looking for another Reagan?) and truly give Ted a really big Nod?
