Ted Cruz is obeying Ronald Reagans 11th commandment: never criticize a fellow Republican.
Cruz refused to jump on the bandwagon of those looking to condemn fellow GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump over a comment he made about Mexicans entering the country illegally.
I salute Donald Trump for focusing on the need to address illegal immigration, Cruz said. The Washington cartel doesnt want to address that.

Cruz refused to take the bait from NBC host Chuck Todd in an early release of a clip from Meet the Press to be aired Sunday.
I like Donald Trump, Cruz told Todd. Hes bold, hes brash, and I get it that it seems the favorite sport of the Washington media is to encourage some Republicans to attack other Republicans.
I aint going to do it, he added. Im not interested in Republican-on-Republican violence.
When asked whether rhetoric matters, Cruz said the business magnate has a colorful way of speaking.
Its not the way I speak, he said. But Im not going to engage in the medias game of throwing rocks and attacking other Republicans. Im just not gonna do it.
Reagan would be proud of him.
Cruz is showing that he has a pair of balls and a backbone. seems when you are out with the GOPe, sddenly you start to sand up to them. So maybe I too will forgive Cruz for his momentary lapse of judgement with he first vote on the trade bill. I am prepared o be jumped on by others. Guess what I have been approached by 75 people to run for mayor in the small town in live in. I am doing it!
Nice contrast of Cruz and the Beast.
Ditto on your graphic.
I guess they haven't noticed how counterproductive such tactics have proven
I think the FR Cruz Contingent could learn a thing or two from Cruz himself on how to conduct themselves.
I'm not alone here in wondering if Cruz himself is as mean spirited as the Contingent is.
Noted.
Does Trump look like someone who would settle for second place?

The one thing is what kills me. They don’t agree with one thing out of tons, therefore Cruz or whoever becomes one of a thousand names and they just won’t shut up like I care or they have a chance in he!! Of persuading me.
I admire Cruz, he will make a really good POTUS. Compared to the rest of the field he can disappoint me a lot before he catches up to any of the others.
He is the most perfect I have ever seen.
“Cruz is showing that he has a pair of balls and a backbone.”
I agree. It takes real balls to stand up and say “Me Too” after someone else has cleared the field.
If Ted will keep copying Trump he may even break double digits. Lol.
while I do want Cruz to win.... to me what he is doing by educating the public and raising the discourse is more valuable than winning
“...but ya gotta admit, his snuzzling up to The Donald isnt the smartest tactic; itll likely bite him in the ass.”
Are you sure?
What Ted needs badly is media attention. He’ll get it in droves if he enters the firestorm.
Ted can handle negative media.
They're only "prominent" in their own pea brains and they really have not ideas other than to find fault, even in our best choices/hopes because they can't handle the thought of success. Pusillanimous, dastardly morons - all of them.
I doubt very much that Reagan would be proud of Trump.
