Bandwagons usually don’t go far. He is essentially mocking an emblem that for many of his constituents is the symbol of the courage and valiant service of their ancestors, most of whom were not slave owners and who shared the same racial attitudes of their Northern opponents of their time.
Well there you go, Rand is neck and neck with Hillary.
Thanks Rand, for bowing out of this insanely overcrowded contest. The herd needed culling.
Yes, he issssssss.
It’s time for the United States to kick all those racist Southern states out of the Union.
This is a very coordinated assault on America
Was it "inescapably" such a symbol 25 years ago, Mr. Paul? Did you recognize it as such? Why not?
The key: "...when people use it obviously for..."
So, if someone else misappropriates MY symbol (a heart pierced by an arrow, a cross, etc.), and misuses it, then I can be forced to give it up?

“At this point the paranoia over the Confederate battle flag is getting even more annoying than the annoying pro-treason screeds of the Confederacys modern apologists.”
Could not have said better myself! How about both the slaver apologists and the wannabe victum whiners share the biggest cup of STFU! All this to distract from the real issue at hand — Bruce Jenner’s gender change.
Yes please do... start with Texas.
Not real.
I wouldnt vote for him if he was running against beastly Michele.
Maybe the way to approach this is ask folks like Rand if they would support the government removing ALL vestiges of the Confederacy, including any statues, monuments, landmarks or museums that in any way might serve to suggest that it’s alright for some citizens to associate any sense of regional pride or heritage with those events. Oh, and let’s ban the issuance of any more US postage stamps that have the images of folks like Robert E. Lee or Stonewall Jackson, and also require that any names like that are removed from schools, municipal buildings, or street signs.
And if any rhino says that would be going too far, then please explain the difference between a city that flies the Confederate Flag with one that names a hospital or school after a confederate leader.
Lol. Can u believe the idiots that are in this gubment. A step below turd world. Amazing. Im so glad they are exposed even more.
The confederacy was never 17 trillion in debt. What a bunch of suckers we are. Get rid of the Fed resrrve.
People in KY could choose either side.
