I know that. And you know that. But there are always more than a few FReepers who will “remind” us that unless we vote for Jeb then we are throwing away our vote and giving the win to Hillary.

Well, whatev. I guess there's no idea so stupid that there aren't at least some people who will believe it.

But even Ann Coulter seems to have done a 180 and come around to the rational position. I can't find the actual article, but she recently wrote: "What's the point of voting Republican?" (paraphrase).

So you think we’re the only conservatives left on Earth?

“So you think we’re the only conservatives left on Earth?”

I suppose we could go back and forth here, over the definitions of

“we’re”

“only”

“conservatives”

“Earth”

Instead why don’t you go back, and address the question that I posed?

Do you think Cruz intends his implication to be that Rubio, Paul, Walker and Perry are all like McCain and Romney?

I think Cruz should start lying to his supporters. That has really worked for Scott Walker.

You just make false claims, lie out our -—, and they say it doesn’t matter and swear a loyalty only an Obama supporter could identify with.

They actually tell you, it doesn’t matter what he says. They listen to what he says, and it’s a lie, and they literally say it doesn’t matter and you’re some sort of operative for pointing it out.

If you point this out, you’re a Jeb Bush supporter.

You really have to wonder why folks spend years here carping about our president and leftists lying, when they latch on to someone that does it on our side.

Well, probably because they aren't who and what they pretend to be.

But, being the wise man that you are D1, I know you already know that!

Well, I didn’t go that route in my thinking process.

Now I will admit I know a few operatives that fit that description to a tee, so I can’t say I didn’t go that direction at all, but I did allow for some folks to simply be mistaken and blinded.

That may be where I really made a big mistake. Perhaps I should realize what I’m dealing with here.

We have a bunch of GOPe dupes who don’t mind lies and the Obama adoration treatment at all as long as the GOPe sells it.

Walker will make a fine VP for Cruz.

The trend is away from former rivals getting the VP slot. George H.W. Bush fit that mold. Chenney did not, Biden was a two-time loser for his own POTUS slot, and a long time Senator, so it was an "up and out" promotion for him. And, it doesn't look like it's helping him finally get the brass ring.

If Walker fails to get the nod, I think it's more likely he returns to finish his Gov. term, and runs again (having learned a lot) in 2020, assuming Hillary is POTUS, or even 2024.

Carly Fiorina is actually running for VP. She is well positioned to get the job, in my opinion. Her attacks on Hillary are just starting, and have been some of the most brutal of any candidates. The woman card can not be played against her.

Ted Cruz didn’t state it, but losing is the overriding goal of the gop wing of the uniparty.

The gop wing of the uniparty exists to provide the appearance of an opposition political party while delivering none of the substance. They’re the “good “cop in a never endimg good cop, bad cop routine.

“Picking another establishment GOP presidential nominee in the mold of Mitt Romney, John McCain or Bob Dole to run against Democrats in 2016 will guarantee that Hillary Clinton wins the White House, GOP presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz told Newsmax TV on Wednesday.”

He is so right. And if anyone can energize true conservatives, it is Mr. Cruz

dp: ““Well, the conservatives took back the Senate and the House in 2012, “

MB: “Correction. Republicans took back the Senate and the House.”

MB is right. Conservatives voted in the RINOs, that immediately stabbed us in the back.

With a real conservative leading them, the RINOs would be between a rock and a hard place-they’d have to show that they love Obama’s policies or go along with Cruz. Since they have spines of jelly, I think they’d just go along.
