I penned a ditty a few years back, “Redneck Revolution,” that kind of envisioned a scenario like this. The way I put it about the revolution was “the love of God would be its food.” And its reference to rednecks was before the Duck Dynasty came on the national scene too. Not claiming any prophetic power here — perhaps I was only anticipating the obvious, that the pendulum would have to swing back from godlessness some day as long as there are Christians who remember what Christianity is. People are going to get jaded with worldliness and hence will come an opening for a new gospel based movement.

I moved to the land of rednecks specifically because I think the 2nd CW will start here. I love being in the Bible Belt and around well-armed patriotic people. I also love how unmaterialistic they are. I escaped Mexifornia, where what you have and even worse, updating it with every new fad, is expected. I live seeing people happy with their modest and perfectly good houses. Their values are exactly what I was looking for.
