MEMO TO DAVID BROOKS: Mr Giuliani is correct. Obama lacks the basic American culture reflected in the thinking behind our daily speech. Most Americans are versed in the culture of our founders, our freedoms, our can-do attitude. We express those values in our daily speech. Obama never seems to mention those American values. He omits freedom, individualism, self-reliance. Instead, he focuses on the vocabulary of exploitative Marxism, pitting the poor class against successful achievers by arousing the jealousies of rich against poor, pitting the educated against the failures.

It might be legitimate if he were urging our lower class to ASPIRE to better things through work and self improvement, but he doesn't do that. Instead, he rewards poverty and failure by the lie that successful Americans have not paid their way or earned their own success. Obama's premise is a Marxist lie. He urges class warfare by saying that society owes our failures sustenance, health, housing and citizenship paid for by the taxpayers. That is communism in the worst form.

Real Americans do not feel that America owes them anything except justice and freedom. All the rest we want to earn ourselves with no interference from the government.

Note further Obama has surrounded himself mostly with communists, marxists and socialists who speak his language, who play down what they really want to do to America by bringing down our successes and friendships.

Obama has not fooled those Americans like Giuliani who see his communist slant in his language and in those he has brought into his administration.

Real Americans won the cold war once. If communism has now sneaked back in by the Obama back-door, trying to hide what it really wants, we will not be fooled, and we will have to defeat communism again. And we will do so with the likes of real American heroes like Mr Giuliani.

Brooks gets a high-five from the Democrat-Socialist Party. The exit-door is wide open, David.

I would love to see Rudy challenge the gender-challenged Brooks to a debate.

Obama loves America in the same way that the minstrel who wrote “This Land is Your Land” loved America.

Obama loves it from from California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters. Near the welfare office, he sees his people.

To the likes of Brooks, that counts as loving America. In fact, the continued popularity of the Guthrie tune suggests that a lot of Americans feel that way.

Rudy needs to stick to his guns....

I agree and it looks like that is what he is doing. And it's driving the Libs mad trying to play "Gotch" with all the Republicans.

So we should just keep telling our story ... Rudy is a great, great man. OK, maybe he went a bit far ... and let it go at that. The Libs will hate it. I call that success.

I don't think leftists realize how anti-American they sound when the write or talk about average Americans. Almost everything held dear by middle-class Americans is mocked, derided, and ridiculed by the leftist clique.

And yes, they sound anti-American. I've never read a criticism of free-market capitalism by conservatives, but I've read plenty from liberals and leftists who simply don't understand how and why America works.

David Brooks, the one who thought BO’s “crease” in his pant leg would make him a superior occupant of the Oval Office?

Funny.

I still say, Rudy would have blown away the last three Republican POTUS nominees, even with all his faults.

Which is why, I would NEVER even remotely think of voting for a democrat, no matter the circumstance. He or she could be talking as conservative as Reagan and I would know they were lying. I hated Democrats before 9/11, now I despise them, as I truly believe their despicable mouths and actions caused the nation great harm, before 9/11 and most certainly after right up to this day.
