Beck Suspects Romney Bowing Out Was Part of Secret Deal with Jeb Bush

Glenn Beck suspects that Mitt Romney bowing out of the 2016 presidential race might be the result of a secret deal between him and Jeb Bush, to avoid the risk of both of them attacking each other and fighting for the same supporters while someone like Ted Cruz can capitalize on a split vote like that.

Remember that secret meeting Romney and Bush had this month? Well, Beck figured that was about both men admitting they would “kill each other” and could both lose to the race to a more conservative candidate. And Beck admitted it bothers him that Bush “clearly went” and cut a deal with Romney.

What the deal is, he’s not sure, be it a VP slot or Cabinet position, but Beck made it clear, “I really don’t like Jeb Bush for a variety of reasons.”

"Bush/Romney"

Yeah. The entire range of the conservative political spectrum from A to B.

Glenn's right. At least we still have Christie to split the RINO vote.

Romney is fixing to support Rubio. He mentioned letting the younger generation have a chance. Bush & Romney have about 6 years age difference. Rubio is in his 40's. "IF" a fix is in look for Perry to step aside and announce he isn't running as well. Christie ain't going no where.

I was at my moms house this afternoon and she had FOX News on and was watching The Five. I don't watch FOX RINO NEWS Central myself. But the ones on The Five were getting star struck it seemed over Rubio. There can't be a Rubio/Bush Ticket unless someone moves their residence real fast. IMO it should be for at least a year prior to running for office.

The GOP-E race will be Rubio vs Bush if Bush stays in. If Bush bows out it will be Rubio vs Perry on the GOP-E. Notice a few weeks ago a loyal to the Bushes Strategist mentioned he wasn't working for Jeb. So that begs the question who has custody of Karl?

Also the Fiox New Poll used on The Five was basically a wish list of GOP-E RINO's minus and real hard core Conservatives.

I'm hard pressed to see what benefit would accrue to Romney by way of an agreement with Bush. Any benefit would seem greater to RINO Bush.

Mitt Romney, for all his political faults, is still a highly successful man.

Not in a lifetime of politics, and not in faith, and not in being a man, and not in much of anything outside of going from being a son of a millionaire to being a multi millionaire.

I still cannot get my head around anyone thinking a another Bush stands a chance of becoming POTUS.

He has no chance. In 2016 after 2 years of the "Republican" Senate and House screwing the hell out of the conservatives that were responsible for their majorities, there will be a mass exit of conservative voters. Combine that with massive voter fraud and Fauxcahonas Warren will clean his clock.

When McConnell and Boehner get done with us, the Republican party will look like Swiss cheese. I know I'm done, and I'm not coming back.

I don’t know if anyone has a link or remembers this but in Sept there was a ‘private’ meeting with Tony Perkins’ group, vowing to get behind a solid conservative early and thwart the plan of a rino running up the middle when 2 conservatives (or more) fight for the base vote.

Cruz was there.

Wow, that’s quite a leap there. That’s why folks listen to Beck, for such hard-hitting analysis.

The money was going to Bush so Romney was in a weak position, and as far as the meeting, Romney brings nothing to Jeb for veep, no state, no region, no ideology, no constituency, no political past of winning elections, no campaign skills, nothing except the proof that he couldn’t beat McCain and Huckabee in 2008, faced no one serious in 2012 or 2008, and in 2012 lost an election against Jimmy Carter’s second term, that the GOP couldn’t lose.

Romney stays in the media and looks good on TV, but under the paper cutout, he is extremely weak as a politician, a version of John Kerry, except without all the election wins.

Don’t run Jeb, don’t run, we’ve had more than enough Bushes, Kennedys and Clintoons.

Let’s have some fresh blood in the presidency.

It’s funny that we have to specify “major RINOs” now when talking about guys like Romney and Bush, because we have so many “minor RINO” guys like Rand, the Huckster, Christie, Rubio, etc. I guess the big difference is that the “major RINOs” don’t even bother trying to pretend to be conservative much anymore. The “minor RINOs” still manage to fool people, at least for a while.

Rand Paul would have to have just about set an all time record for selling out to GOP-E and becoming an Establishment Mule.

Yeah, but notice how the media still associates him with the “Tea Party”, and even at a site as conservative as this, he had some people hoodwinked into thinking he was pretty solid for a long time.

I never got a good vibe from that guy, he was too slick, like a John Edwards type character, just with an R after his name.
