Crude Oil is now
$45.91
Down 2.45(5.07%) 2:49PM EST
It allows for more personal mobility and spewing of evil carbon...a nightmare to liberal elites.
With that knowledge, you may be the next John Paulson!
I believe on balance, cheap oil is good for the economy.
Does disruption take place with big swings in the price? Absolutely. But nobody is going to convince me that expensive oil is good for red states.
Wasn’t it just a couple of years ago that everyone was screaming that oil prices were too high?
The Saudis are pumping the same amount of oil they have for years. How does that constitute dumping?
Of course, from the point of view of any customer, every price is “too high.”
The current glut is artificial and strategic. Soetoro and his bosses, the Saudis and the Muslim Brotherhood, want to destroy fracking and American oil production in general. The collapse of oil company stocks is a bonus, as it is going to cause general financial distress. If they get their way, the dollar will be destroyed once and for all.
The real issue, which “respectable” people won’t talk about, is that we have an illegal alien, a Muslim Brotherhood operative, posing as “president, put in the White House by a Communist organization posing as a “political party.”

I say more robust, because I feel that the political winds will eventually allow the XL to be built. When that happens, and when it is operational, it will be day 1 when OPEC is no longer a cartel, and only another regional trade group.
I have stated here at FR many times that anyone who claims that they will know oil prices in 6 months is out in out lying. Just remember we are one or two geopolitical events from returning to $100/bbl.
Now to the point of consumption. There is a natural human tendency to correlate the use of commodities to price. Cheap gas will not only fuel more vehicular use, but will steer the choice which vehicle is purchased. I have already seen that there has been a spike in sales of F-150's, Tundras, etc. I think this will net out pretty closely.
The past 6 years of Obolo's presidency can best be summed up in a blend of two movies's. "Peter Sellers- Being There, and Forest Gump."
Both movies were about blithering idiots who came across as genius' because of fate, and being in the right place at the right time.
Opposing forces are closing in from all sides, every step of the way he's been a disaster, and yet he's still issuing piles of orders from inside his bunker. "Hey!..."
