Handel may not be very educated, but I love his Concerto Grossi.

The “hyper-educated” are much more dangerous than those who went through the School of Hard Knocks. The administration in power is the greatest proof of that.

Exactly so.

George Washington had several gaps in his formal education, but made up for it in many other ways, earning the title “Father of our country” in the process.

Benjamin Franklin never graduated high school or college and he’s thought of in the same breath as Newton and Da Vinci. Lincoln hardly ever saw the inside of a classroom. The list is endless.

“Hyper-educated” I like that!! Perhaps there is a drug for that from our complex healthcare system and the really complex pharmaceutical industry that lobbies our really, really complex legislative system.
How in world did civilization ever get this far without all these really, really, really smart people?

I have an associates and I can gaurrantee you that I know a whole lot more about a whole lot of things than a lot of Bachelors, Masters, and PhD’s out there. I’m sick of eletist snobs. These are the “smarter than the rest of us” bums who are uniformly destroying America.

I’m assuming her high school diploma is her own accomplishment and not Affirmative Action.

Isn't a PhD knowing a lot about a little?

I think there was a time that a college education was worth more than some of the ridiculous courses offered today.

I don’t remember there being a requirement of having a college degree to occupy any seat in any government.

from Wiki on the FOUNDER of Dollar General:

The first Dollar General store opened in Scottsville, Kentucky, on June 1, 1955, the concept was that no item in the store would cost more than one dollar. The idea became a success, and other stores owned by J.L. Turner and his son Cal Turner were quickly converted. By 1957, annual sales of Dollar General’s 29 stores were $5 million. The Turners did not reach this level of success without obstacles. James Luther (J.L.) Turner’s father died in an accident in 1902 when J.L. was only 11. J.L. had to quit school so he could work the family farm and help provide for his mother and siblings. He never completed his education. J.L. knew his limited education demanded that he become a quick study of the world around him.

Just another CEO who has a job - thanks to American Exceptionalism. I don't believe a college degree in AE exists....it comes from the heart.

John Conyers questioned even the need to read Obamacare before it was voted on, much less understand it.

Sheila Jackson-Lee is proof that intelligence is not a job requirement to be in Congress.
