If ever there were a more descriptive sentence on the issue of gun control, and why curbing Second Amendment rights only serves to hurt or even kill law-abiding citizens, I have yet to see it.
Tucked away in a Huffington Post article about the motivation behind the horrific shooting at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, is this statement (h/t Ben Howe):
"The dead included temple President Satwant Singh Kaleka, who was shot as he tried to fend off the shooter with a butter knife." Incredible.
Perhaps as Boortz said in regards to the Aurora shooting: Too bad there wasn't someone at that theatre with a concealed carry permit. How many lives could have been saved? -- Neal Boortz (@Talkmaster)
I doubt it was a butter knife. It was mostly likely his kirpan.
Students don’t make mistakes, pencils make mistakes.
"You can't protect the innocent by disarming the innocent."
“Supposed to”. Many carry “butter knives” as symbols, not taking the point seriously.
Back in the 80’s when airplane hijacking was going on all over the world, my dad had the best solution to stop them. He suggested “Issue a gun to every passenger who boards the plane, the hijackings would stop immediately.”

FACT: The first phone call in a shooting is to bring people with guns to make it stop.
Has anyone found that quote in the Huffington Post? I couldn’t find it.
Thanks, I want to use the quote and need to be prepared for blowback by having a source.
what happens when you ban guns isn’t good
