Below is a list of President Bush's pro-life efforts and accomplishments in regard to protecting children in the womb and promoting the sanctity of life.  I include some accomplishments in other areas but mostly focus on his pro-life record. This list is by no means comprehensive.  When considering other issues much more could be added to the list of positive things that Bush has done since he has been in office. Reagan Won 49 State Landslide with only 58% Job Approval In trying to determine the correlation between job approval ratings and Presidential elections, I looked at historical archives of Gallup (and other) Presidential Job Approval data. In 1984, Ronald Reagan won a landslide 525 electoral votes, winning 49 states with only a 58% approval on the eve of election. Bush believes the war on terrorism has a spiritual dimension. George Bush took a lot of criticism when in a Republican primary debate in Iowa — two years and ages ago — he said that his favorite political philosopher was Jesus Christ.
