U.S. intelligence agencies have issued an internal alert that Islamic terrorists are planning another spectacular attack to rival those carried out on September 11.

The detailed warning was issued within the past two weeks in a classified report that said one target was a U.S. nuclear power plant or one of the Energy Department's nuclear facilities.

For 8 years, Sinkmaster spent his time assaulting women and covering crime. He had no time to defend the interests of this nation. We are paying for it.

It was a fake economy. I've been waiting for a major econ writer to talk about that. Stock was artificially inflated and people were lulled into believing that everything was fine. Clinton had to make them believe that long enough to survive impeachment.

Slow down guys! There are alot of us Americans over here in Europe!

Any loss of life in Europe by terror would be horrible. That having been said, if a major attack did take place, it would (or should?) put some spines into Europe's national leaders.

I spent some time last week with two college-age Swedish tourists. The fellow was concerned that an Iranian was "hassled" in Paris, before boarding a flight to the US. I calmly explained that MOST Americans aren't very much concerned. If terrorists hit Stockholm or Gothenburg, he would be less concerned, too.

I offered him some history: that the US doesn't start these things, thereby giving us moral high ground. I further taught him that only after 25 percent of Sweden's people opted to come to north America, did the government over there change to provide a place worth staying in.

English is mandatory for all students in Sweden, not Russian. That says something. (Europe haters: I love Europe and Europeans. I lived there. I DON'T like their governments).

Might I suggest -- the Middle East. See current thread 'ESCALATION? Rightist IDF Ex-Generals Propose Massive Invasion Of PLO Territories'. As the Chinese curse says: 'May you live in interesting times!'.

How can Yahoo at $150 a share with no earnings get rated as buy by Merril and Gold man Sachs ?
( That's why I sold all my tech stuff way back in Jan of 2000,,,,, because unlike these lairs , I knew PE ratios matter.

Of course, there were many more fake evalutions and many more companies which were never worth the prices at which they traded at.
Remeber what GOre said, we don't need to dig for oil, because everything will be done the net and many people will not have to commute. ( He said this when W said he wants to dig for oil in ANWR )

I dont care for their government any more than you do. And if the truth be known, the European government doesnt care too much for the American military. Prime example: I have a German friend that is married to an American soldier. The German government does not recognize the marriage, she is considered single to them. If/when they have kids she will be considered a single mother and put on their welfare system.
