Attack on America” Not to Be Linked to End-time Bible Prophecy! These Are Not the “Last Days”! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (INDIANAPOLIS) - Christian evangelical endsayers are at it again and in a big way. Last week’s attack on America “is the beginning of the end,” they are saying. But, once again, they will be proven wrong! Unfortunately, their popular, gloom-and-doom, and “it’s-inevitable” message is destructive and counterproductive to U.S. efforts to fight terrorism. Their end-time scenario plays right into the hands of terrorists and incites hatred. Hal Lindsey said on TBN’s Praise the Lord program last Thursday [9/13/01] that U.S. efforts “will [only] delay the ultimate judgment of America. . . . we have to slip from power.” Best-selling author, John Noe (pronounced No-ee), and John Anderson, video producer and talk show host of the syndicated radio program Voice of Reason, condemn the role popular end-time interpretation of Bible prophecy has played and is playing in the unfolding of these tragic and cowardly events. “It is time to wake up to Biblical fact, not fiction, and re-evaluate this perverse misuse of past and precisely-fulfilled Scripture,” they contend. Noe’s award-winning book, Beyond the End Times, Scripturally and historically documents how the “last days” were confined to a 1st century timeframe and details how the fulfillment of all end-time Bible prophecy took place exactly as expected. Noe is an evangelical scholar who is challenging the doom-saying trend with solid substance. 1000=1000 is not always true. the number 1000 is used as an symbolic number in different place in the bible to make a point, here are a few. "Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;"(deut 7:9) Does God stop having mecy on geneeration 1001?? "For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills(ps 50:10)" Does the cattle on the 1001th hill belong to the devil?? "even if he lives a thousand years twice--but has not seen goodness. Do not all go to one place? (ess 6:6)" did any person at the time of Solomon live 2000 years? Or is the thousands years trying to make a point.

The one thing that caused me to reject a literal 1000 years after Jesus comming, was the bible leave many questions unanswered about what happens after the 1000 years 1.) Why does the bible not mention a resurrection of the millennial saints? The second death has power over them who take part in the second resurrestion! 2.) why would Jesus reign in a literal kingdom for 1000 years on this pitiful dying earth? 3.) Why do we have to want 1000 years for a new heaven and new earth? 4.) why would Jesus make his people suffer the effects of crying, death and pain for 1000 years? and many many more

It is interesting to note that the Bible does not speak of rises in the quantity of earthquakes. The words earthquake or earthquakes is mentioned only 16 times in the KJV.

Matthew actually says:

Matthew 24:7, "For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places."

Equally interesting is that this particular verse of the Bible does not indicate global warfare.

From no less authority than God I will leave it to let the reader read and see for themselves why His coming has not happened yet. This is the full context of the subject.

What we do know is these people closed their ears to the preaching of righteousness..they lived for their own pleasure ..

And we know God's judgement on mans depravity

Please clarify for me with specificity, how for example the following verses from Matthew 24 were fulfilled by 70 AD.

3 ... And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?"

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 "Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.

10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.

12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
