I realize this is shameless, but do all of you old timers remember when there were extremely high numbers of Marines dying in peacetime helicopter accidents in 1975 just before the Saigon evacuation?
TOPICS: VetsCoR
KEYWORDS: benhoa; coverup; marinecorps; vietnam
Well, my Boss was there, and his story explains why there were so many deaths of Marine enlisted aviators.
They died all right, but not in the way it was told to the public.
This is a MUST read!

The Amazon entry has three reviews. The middle one says that the book is fiction. Is it fiction or non-fiction?

The book is written as fiction to get around the law. :)

I was on board ship in PI when the evacuation started in ‘75. We got extended there and hauled refugees in an old beat up mike 8 boat that was captured by the north and recaptured by our guys. It had 4 50 caliber mounts on it but it was a pos. We had a blast though doing it, had iced down beer in one of the ammo boxes.:) Ah, the old days.
