TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Over 60 businesses, schools, and community agencies will participate in the fourth annual Veterans Job Fair will be back Friday, Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Erie Street Market in Toledo.
The event, which is presented by The Source, Lucas County Workforce Development Agency, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Veteran Services, and Michigan Institute of Aviation and Technology, aims to bring military veterans together with employers, training, and other resources.
"Our veterans and their families put their lives on hold to serve this nation, and when they return, it's our job to help them find a job. It's the least our community can do to recognize their honorable sacrifices," said Commissioner Tina Skeldon Wozniak.
The Source will also host Veterans Job Fair workshops prior to the event, which will include participation from Source Partners and business representatives.
Job Fair "Boot Camps," which will provide tips on how to work a job fair successfully, is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 22, 9 a.m. to noon and Friday, Oct. 29, 1 to 4 p.m.
Reservations for both events can be made at 419-213-6316.
