Of all things, they found Doberman DNA in them.
They slaughtered a cat a few months ago on the street corner. Pretty graphically bloody. Makes us worry about our 3 year old grandchild playing in the yard. We have lived here since 1989. Never feared coyotes because local govt took care of this. Now they say you are on your own!

Funny you should mention that. Early one morning on a hwy in upstate NY a coyote that was unmistakably part Doberman crossed the road in front of my car. Had the bushy tail with Dobie markings. Too bad I didn’t have time to get a picture, even if cell phones had been invented back then.
