What made this so powerful is that it was completely spontaneous. He was calling the Norad line to get Santa’s position for his son and was told that the First Lady was taking calls. He figured it was a prerecorded canned message and when he discovered it was really the Jill and Joe show he took advantange of their stupid mistake and spoke truth to power. They were so stupid they didn’t even realize they had been punk’d. Nothing is more destructive to illegitimate power than ridicule.
