ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA - Following its historic fundraising day on December 16th, Ron Paul campaign chairman Kent Snyder issued the following statement:

"There is an unprecedented outpouring of grassroots support for Dr. Paul. The message of freedom is powerful and uniting people across America. And, Dr. Paul is the only candidate offering real solutions to the issues Americans care about, with the record to back it up.

"Americans are sick and tired of our broken borders and they know the other candidates are not serious about illegal immigration. Dr. Paul has proposed serious and substentative legislation to fix our immigration problems once and for all.

The $6 million one-day total means the campaign has raised over $18 million this quarter, far exceeding its goal of $12 million. "Finally, as Americans see the value of their dollar plummet, they know Dr. Paul has devoted his political career to stopping the inflation that makes it impossible for middle-class families to get ahead. Only Dr. Paul has a plan to cut spending, balance budgets and take care of people who have become dependent on government programs.

"Americans spoke loud and clear on December 16th. They want Dr. Paul's solutions."

Tancredo and Hunter have been very "serious" about this issue for years.

Yes, they have. And it's unfortunate that they don't have the support that Paul does, and I'm not saying this sarcastically because both men are fine conservatives.

What the heck has Ron Paul ever actually done about it, or anything else for that matter?

No handouts & no automatic citizenship = no illegals coming in.

None of them which changed any of the facts cited by EEE.

I know you must be very depressed that none of the other GOP candidates can marshal any real enthusiastic support, so you feel compelled to express your bitterness by anti-Ron Paul tirades.

When the GOP candidate is decided on, and it will probably not be Ron Paul, these threads are going to be as quiet as a grave yard, because there will be very little support for whatever 'establishment' candidate gets picked.

I'm aware that Paul's stand on immigration isn't as good as Hunter's or Tancredo's. But of the three candidates, who has the most money and support?

That said, he at least addresses the economic aspect of it, and he'll be better on immigration than the current "front-runners."

Gee, is that anyway to talk about a veteran?

As a captain in the U.S. Army who served in Kuwait, Afghanistan, and briefly, in Qatar, I’m proud to say that I am one of many Army officers who generously donates to Dr. Paul’s campaign.

” And, Dr. Paul is the only candidate offering real solutions to the issues Americans care about, with the record to back it up.”

We’ve been told by Paul fans that 1876 pieces of legislation he co sponsored MUST have been strictly about lowering spending or correcting constitutional injustice!!!! YOU decide......

This isn’t all of Paul’s co sponsored legislation, just a few. Take note of how they increase policy and enforcement within the IRS and the Dept. of Education. Also, the support for Mexico, etc. Notice also the socialist/liberal members of congress he supported.

Ten years earlier, in 1987, he wrote that the United States should not have a national immigration policy and “should welcome everyone who wants to come here and work.”

From Paul’s website: “A co-sponsor is a Member of Congress who joins with the sponsor in originally introducing the legislation, or officially supporting it after the measure has been formally introduced to the Congress.”

Gee, is that anyway to talk about a veteran?

You mean somebody who was zotted because he was caught lying?

Gosh, you're gullible. But then again, you'd have to be to believe all that Ron Paul nonsense.

Keep up the harrassment and you'll be next, sucka!

Ask anyone who has served...They would tell you that endorsing a political candidate using your rank and military affiliation while on active duty is forbidden...

(1) For years and years Ron Paul was the premier advocate of a completely open-borders policy.

(2) "No other candidate" addresses this issue? All Tom Tancredo ever talks about is illegal immigration. And he's certainly proposed more legislation in Congress to combat it than Ron Paul ever has.

Thank you, I wasn't aware of that.

Maybe he is a former Captain since he said that he had served in those areas.

I doubt it, maybe more of a retread.

Most Captains I know would never endorse a cadidate, if they wanted to become Majors. If was former he would of indicated it. The way he presented the post is that he still was serving.

If I was to use a my Military Title while on Active duty it would be MSgt. But now since I am retired I would use it this way MSgt(Ret).
