Perhaps the greatest sign that we are in the last days before God’s judgment is that the sins of Sodom and Gamorrah have been codified. Sodomy laws have been passed promoting and protecting the behavior in the United States. The United States now exports these laws around the world tied to contingent foreign financial aid packages.
We didn’t just wake up one morning and discover that we were a country of Sodomites. It has been a long process of walking away from God and His Word. A slow and steady hardening of the heart and soul of our country that has been accelerating since the sexual revolution of the 1960s. Now the people used by Satan to usher in that demonic plague are now firmly in control of our nation.
If you ask most Christians today about what the book of Romans is about many will reflexively say, “Romans Road to Salvation”, discussed in Chapters 3 - 16. For all its faults, the evangelical church has done a least a mediocre job explaining the fall of man, the wages of sin, the gift of God in Christ Jesus, justification by faith, the lawn of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart, etc. However most evangelical churches today assiduously avoid the OTHER Romans road. What is that road? The one that leads to destruction…in Romans 1.
The Gospel of Christ is challenging, difficult at times, and tough on sin. The word of God never compromises. Every word of God is critical for man to have a relationship with the True, Living, and Holy God! God’s truths in the Gospel are the power of God that brings salvation into the lives of men! Prior to his description of the Romans Road to Destruction, Paul prefaces this explanation by proclaiming that he is not ashamed in God’s truth. We should not be either!
Revelation 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein* is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written*, The just shall live by faith.
The Romans road starts off in Romans 1:18-21 show how men progress from being ungodly and unrighteous, to holding the truth in unrighteousness. Even though God has shown each and every man the truth, men reject the truth and are not thankful to God. Subsequently they become vain in their imaginations and their foolish hearts are darkened. Mainline Christian churches in America began questioning the veracity of the Bible based on German Higher Criticism. Then the USA began teaching evolution after the backlash of the Scopes Monkey Trial…
Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another*; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
It’s one think to be foolish and disobedient. However, it’s another thing altogether to be foolish and disobedient but believe you are wise! The same people who think they’re wise, in their own eyes, progress into making an image of God as a stupid beast or corrupted man. Therefore, God gives these people over to the lusts of their hearts and uncleanness. Dishonoring their own bodies between themselves.
But the progression gets worse! God then gives them over to vile (pathological) affections like sodomy. Restated, because of their rebellion against God and the truth, the rebellious are given over to a pathological self-destructive predatory hedonism, like sodomy, that undermines the very civilization they inhabit. This is the Romans road to destruction. Sodomy is a judgment from God on a people and nation devoid of truth!
Even though this is not a popular message today, it does not change the fact that it is true, and absolutely essential for Christians to understand and believe to be saved. We should not be ashamed of what the Bible says about sin, or God's judgments on sin, regardless of what our current generation or world thinks.
Legions became infested with Sodomites who were not only a danger to themselves, but also a danger to others. As Christianity spread across the pagan Roman Empire, gentile Christian families would not send their sons off to fight for Sodomite Caesars and Legions. They wanted to protect their children from this abomination. Even its own leaders spoke out against sodomy in the Roman Empire. In 50BC, Roman Senator Cicero wrote a polemic against sodomy, arguing that the foundation of every civilization is the family unit (Husband, Wife, Children). He was promptly killed for being an enemy of the state!
Christians have been maligned ever since by famous Roman historians like Edward Gibbon who claims Christianity was a major reason for the fall of the Roman Empire. The Romans Road to Destruction continues…
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
This current Brave New Sodomite world we live in claims it is on the “RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY!” Only people who have been given over to a reprobate mind could claim this, and nothing could be further from the truth.
The Romans Road to Destruction progresses and the descent to evil gets even worse! God gives these people and nations over to a mind completely filled with unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; envy, murder, debate, deceit, and malignity. Lines that would never be crossed in a sane world like pedophilia, child grooming, and inculcated transgenderism become reality. These haters of God are proud, inventers of evil, without natural affection, disobedient to even their own parents, and untrustworthy to the point of treason! Like the people of doomed Sodom, not only do they do these unspeakable evils, they take pleasure in others that do as well!
Thank God that this is not the end of the story. The God of the Bible is coming soon to judge the world in righteousness. The covenant breakers who have trampled God’s Everlasting Covenant (Genesis 9, Isaiah 24) will stand before God and give account.
Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

That is to say anyone that approves of or makes legal their acts is likewise guilty.
Good; now, supposing the Lord tarries, as He did during the Roman imperial days, it’s not hard to see the consequences.
Nor was this lesson lost on the people who push the alphabet butt stuff. They know exactly what that does to a country and in what order because they’ve read history. Since spiritual revival would quash their hopes of destruction, they work hard to ensure the larger body of people don’t learn history by labelling it as racist, and promote the indoctrination of anti-history to shout down those who point out truth.
Some poor sap might even see something good going on out there, and we can't have that. Quick, pull the shades closed tight.
Stockholm Syndrome. Few ever catch on that the preaching of bad news all-day-every-day is not the Good News.
No vision. No dreams. No hope. Good news is always somehow just out of reach beyond the horizon. Desperate times 24/7/365! Good thing for all those book$ about keeping the faith! 🤔
Once the scam is exposed, those feasting on bad news are going to be gobsmacked that they're the ones plunging headlong off of a cliff. It was supposed be all those other people going down.
It's like the the obnoxious sorts who simply don't belong on airplanes. They can't just travel from point A to point B without causing big trouble.
There are those for whom the Promised Land was never intended.
Meanwhile, for those standing firm on good ground, taking the Good News Challenge is no challenge at all, because King David sure had an ear for the best musicians and singers!
