JERUSALEM, ISRAEL – What a tragic and painful year 2023 turned out to be for Israelis, Palestinians and much of the Middle East.
Many of us hoped Israel and Saudi Arabia would forge an historic and transformative peace and normalization treaty.
Instead, the forces of Iranian-backed evil were unleashed.
More Jews were murdered on Oct. 7 than at any other time in the modern era since the Holocaust.
And so many Palestinians have died in the ensuing war, as well.
I wish I could tell you that 2024 will be better.
But few in our neighborhood believe that.
I have no doubt that Israel will eventually vanquish the Hamas terror regime and completely destroy its terror machinery in the Gaza Strip.
But the cost in blood and treasure for people on both sides has already proven terribly high – and it will get worse before it gets better.
Then, the Israeli Defense Forces will be forced to turn their attention towards Lebanon.

PRINCIPLE #1: Evangelical followers of the Lord Jesus Christ are called to love Israel and her neighbors – not just one or the other.
PRINCIPLE #2: Evangelicals are called to be peacemakers.
PRINCIPLE #3: Evangelicals are called to oppose injustice and care for those who are suffering.
PRINCIPLE #4: Evangelicals are called to strengthen our Gentile Christian and Messianic Jewish brothers and sisters, including providing financial support when the Lord directs.
PRINCIPLE #5: Evangelicals are called to make sure that everyone, everywhere has the opportunity to at least hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, understand it, and make a definitive decision either to receive Jesus as Savior and Lord, or to reject Him.
PRINCIPLE #6: Evangelicals are called to never stop praying.

All the problems in the Middle East, the conflict and wars, would cease if the muslims just left Israel well enough alone.
Israel is NOT instigating any of this, but they certainly have the right to defend themselves and stop it.

At the end of the 7 years, even the unbelievers know He is coming. They’re begging the rocks and the mountains to fall on them and hide them from His face.

Christ said ‘time’ or that 7 years was shortened.. Revelation 12 says the Serpent is going to be kicked out of heaven ... woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants on earth ...

IMHO that’s only because it’s not allowed to run its full course because no flesh would be left alive.
3.5 years for the Two Witnesses and their judgements upon the Earth (Revelation 11).
3.5 years for the Remnant of Israel in Petra (Revelation 12) AFTER the abomination that causes desolation - the Mark of the Beast decreed and enacted. Terrible judgements from God during that time.
The 70th week of Daniel will run it’s full length, IMHO - just as the previous 69 weeks did.

The ‘fake’ Jesus is that good at deceiving .. all but the elect will be deceived ... time shall be shortened for the elect's sake... no ifs, ands, or buts about it .. Christ declared it.

There are specific lengths of time given in what I just showed you in Revelation 11 and 12.
Reconcile them any way you wish.
The ‘fake’ gets dumped out of heaven first, the 6th trump, the 6 th seal and the 6 th vial ... 666... Christ says that there will be wars and rumors of wars, BUT that is not the end ... what is the opposite of wars and rumors of wars .... peace, peace, peace, but, there is no peace...
There is One Heavenly Father, and One Savior ... but as Christ warned there would be many claiming to be ... and the ‘fake’ is after souls...

The IDF is fighting back but much more is needed. The challenge is that because Hezbollah has a much bigger army of terrorists – and has 150,000 powerful missiles aimed at Israel (many of which are precision-guided) – every Israeli believes the next phase of this war will be much bigger, much deadlier and much more tragic. So, please don’t get lulled into thinking that once the war in Gaza is over, things will get quiet again. That is unlikely the case.
How, then, are Evangelical Christians who care about what’s happening in this region I call the Epicenter supposed to respond to all that’s happening?
Christ as Savior is certainly the main objective
Revelation 12 is a bit of an enigma, compared to the other chapters. It appears to paint a broad overview, which is still nice information.
It DOES seem that Satan is freer to do evil during those days.
Perhaps because the Restrainer has stepped out of his way (well, not perhaps). I think absolutely because.
To me, Satan was kicked out of Heaven before the foundation of the Earth. Salvation was certainly planned before then (Lamb slain before the foundation of the Earth).
Satan was already walking the Earth in the Book of Job. Somehow he came in the form of the serpent in the Garden. And Christ refers to him as the prince of this world nearly 2,000 years ago in a present tense.

It already did, right after week 69. God is not the author of confusion. Prophetic time periods are in chronological order. The 70 weeks (490 years) were the first part of the longer 2300 day/YEAR prophecy.

The Restrainer of the Antichrist was PAGAN ROME. All but one of the Early Church Fathers who commented on the subject, agree.
