I think Francis the Talking Mule would have been a better choice.

I meant to add this and forgot:
I always laugh when I see a bumper sticker that says “caution: show horses“.

Should a bumper sticker on an Amish or Mennonite buggy, say “work horses: who cares?“

I have a friend, Allen, who once owned a farm in Ohio Amish country. He’s not Amish, or any other religion for that matter. He is an engineer rather than a farmer, but grew up on an Ohio horse farm, and his “farm” was more like an investment.

Anyway he had plenty of stories about his Amish neighbors.

They were always polite, but he thought that they took too many fish out of his pond. These “fishermen” were Amish kids who always asked permission to fish, so he had control if he wanted it. I don’t think he fished at all. Allen said that one of the boys once broke a jar while fishing. Allen went out later to inspect and found that not only had this kid picked up his own broken glass, he had picked up every single bit of litter around the entire pond.

The adults didn’t drive and sometimes asked for a lift into town. In gratitude they once gave him a dry cured ham, which apparently is like being handed the culinary version of a gold bar.

"Many Amish communities have no prohibition on drinking alcohol. I regularly always walking out of convenience, stores with six packs or 12 packs. I have bought alcoholic beverages for Amish bishops that I was dining with. Etc. etc. it’s only some communities that turn a sour eye at it."

Pennsylvania Dutch? Maybe. This tribe to the West? Ephesians 5:18. No alcohol.

But Blessed are they who wield a hammer and a saw and my overpriced lumber. Thouest build thy finest truss and clasp wondrous boards together to bring thine roof and stalls together so thine horses be happy...

The poster called Morgana sure likes pointing out sins of others.

What kind of skeletons does he have in his closet?

For starters, if somebody called "Morgana" is a he, that's probably a very big skeleton.

“But when it gets to even isolated communities like that, you know that it has infiltrated everywhere. They are more the canary in the coal mine.”

I’ve always certainly admired the Amish at a distance. How to be “in the world but not of the world” seems to be a challenge for all Christian communities, regardless of culture. I was surprised to learn of first-hand testimonies about abuse becoming entrenched even in these types of isolated, Christian communities.

“Jesus needs to come back soon as we are racing for the level of evil as the days of Noah were.”

Amen. As the days of Lot as well. The perpetrators of these crimes against nature and against humanity seem to be hell-bent on aggressively evangelizing and spreading their beliefs coercively if necessary. I find it challenging to know the extent to which it is appropriate for Christians to take up arms to stop the spread of evil, especially when it involves crimes against children.

In the days of Noah and the days of Lot, there was a cry to Heaven for justice. I think that is also happening today as well. Unspeakable horrors are being perpetrated against people, especially children, that God is watching and hearing. At some point, He is going to decide He’s had all that He can take of it, and He is going to intervene.

I’ve noticed the dark anti Christian tone of his/her/they/themselves posts as well.

I wondered why, of all the ripe available pickings such as this:

https://search.brave.com/search?q=movie+spotlight&source=android

why shield child molesters and a false religion that fosters it?

And who would have a daily news feed with a central focus on attacks against Christianity? Unless it has a laser focused defined mission to discredit TRUE Christianity by posting anti Christian threads?

But since this posters posting history mimicks that of left wing journalists, the similarities are consistent with either catholicism and/or atheism.

Why doesn’t this poster ever entertain threads such as the most recent attacks on Christian sound Doctrine by the devils twin, the pope? Surely there’s enough fault there alone to keep this person satisfied?

Or how about typical catholics such as biden? pelosi? kerry? As it relates to their own unethical anti Christian beliefs?

This is a common practice found within those that practice yellow journalism.

A good example will be found in taking note how left wing journalists are already seeking angles to discredit Christianity by seeking ways they can attack Speaker Johnsons defense of Christian standards.

The distinction is obvious when compared to the lack of attacks aimed at catholic politicians by main stream yellow journalists.

I can just imagine if one of us did the same thing we’d probably be accused of “Catholic bashing” and banned!

Protestants can only aspire to the lofty and narrow path of Catholics. They should look to the Pope for inspirations of goodness and steadfastness.

You got this from the babylon bee.....right??

Didn’t have a clue about them until my daughter told me to stop buying very good well-priced eggs from their farms at a local health food store.

Why? They run very cruel puppy farms with crowded three -tiered wire cages. Dog abuse not OK, plus they are horrible to women. Women could at least leave but not those poor helpless dogs. In our family, that is very important.
