VATICAN CITY -- VATICAN CITY (AP) — Pope Francis has suggested there could be ways to bless same-sex unions, responding to five conservative cardinals who challenged him to affirm church teaching on homosexuality ahead of a big meeting where LGBTQ+ Catholics are on the agenda.
The Vatican on Monday published a letter Francis wrote to the cardinals on July 11 after receiving a list of five questions, or “dubia,” from them a day earlier. In it, Francis suggests that such blessings could be studied if they didn't confuse the blessing with sacramental marriage.
New Ways Ministry, which advocates for LGBTQ+ Catholics, said the letter “significantly advances" efforts to make LGBTQ+ Catholics welcomed in the church and “one big straw towards breaking the camel’s back” in their marginalization.

So let us rephrase our dubium: Is it possible that in some circumstances a pastor could bless unions between homosexual persons, thus suggesting that homosexual behavior as such would not be contrary to God’s law and the person’s journey toward God? Linked to this dubium is the need to raise another: does the teaching upheld by the universal ordinary magisterium, that every sexual act outside of marriage, and in particular homosexual acts, constitutes an objectively grave sin against God’s law, regardless of the circumstances in which it takes place and the intention with which it is carried out, continue to be valid?
But it hasn't happened yet.

The Catholic faithful do not owe this man their trust or allegiance.
Look at what happened to the Episcopal Church after the New Hampshire Bishop Gene Robinson came out as a homosexual. He “married” another homosexual, left his church then got divorced.
The Episcopal Church disintegrated over this incident, and this issue of homosexual “marriage”. Their church attendance dropped so precipitously that their church has ceased to function as a legitimate faith.
Perhaps that’s what this supposed Catholic imposter is attempting to accomplish, as the traditional Catholic Church and its timeless teachings are the greatest threat to what Biden calls “…the liberal world order…”.
No doubt in my mind this “pope” will bless abortions before he kicks the bucket. None. He is the Obama of popes set out to “fundamentally transform” the church.
