I know plenty of so-called “evangelicals” (I just call them Christians) Their thoughts about politics, society, public policy and morals go way beyond just who is President. They know exactly the sort of groups that are behind Biden and won’t be duped.
If the problem is a power vacuum because Trump lacks allies (in part because he does things like declare war on the likes of Jeff Sessions and Steve Bannon) the answer is not going to be Joe Biden hiding in his basement.
Trump needs to mend some fences in order to avoid being overrun. Oddly, I never realized the full meaning of “mending fences” before now.
