God will never desert His people. That does not mean His people should. it desert apostate organizations. Rev 18:4. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her.

The issue isn’t a “bad” leader. The issue is the leader who purports to be Catholic and the Vicar of Christ on Earth and Visible Head of Christ’s Church teaches heresy to Christ’s Church. Popes can be “bad” and “sin”. They can’t teach heresy to the Universal Church. Apples and Oranges.

All human institutions become political, internally as well as outwardly to the world, but none more so than the Jesuits.

I have always viewed the Jesuits as a political institution draping itself in the fabric of SOME Christian teachings.

Given all of the changes to Rome's theological positions over the years, how does the Roman Catholic determine if this pope is valid or not? Or Vatican 2 or Vatican 1 for that matter?

Not reallty persecuted, but left to do their thing. The Jesuits love to have this sprinkling of real catholics to give cover to the order. Bob Spitzer is another example.

Yet much better than that heretic Father Martin!

There are some Jesuits who are very good, and very Catholic. Fr Mitch Pacwa, for example.
They seem to be a small minority, and I think they are probably persecuted by the heterodox within their order.

Father Pacwa is on EWTN every day and I think he's excellent. I didn't know he was a Jesuit until I looked him up. He doesn't brag about it.
