Rev. Graham to SF Gov't: Stop Lying, 'Abortion is Murdering a Child in its Mother's Womb'

The San Francisco city government has banned business travel for its employees to "certain states" that are not sufficiently pro-abortion, a decision that Rev. Franklin Graham said was based on "the lie that abortion is a woman's right," when, in fact, "abortion is murdering a child in its mother's womb."

Last week, San Francisco Mayor London Breed said, “Every day in this country, women’s reproductive rights are threatened, and we have to fight back. Just as we restricted spending with states that have laws that discriminate against LGBTQ people, we are standing up against states that put women’s health at risk and that are actively working to limit reproductive freedoms."

“By limiting travel and contracting with certain states, we are sending a clear message to states that disregard the right to abortion," said Breed, a left-wing Democrat. Pro-abortion Democrat London Breed, the may of San Francisco. (Photo by Kelly Sullivan/Getty Images)

In a Facebook post on Oct. 22, Rev. Graham, head of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said, "Can you believe this? San Francisco is 'blacklisting' states with pro-life laws."

"City employees in San Francisco are forbidden to take work trips or do business with companies in 22 states that have what they interpret as 'restrictive abortion laws' in the new year," said Rev. Graham.

"Mayor London Breed and Supervisor Vallie Brown announced the measure last week," he added. "Mayor Breed said, 'By limiting travel and contracting with certain states, we are sending a clear message to states that disregard the right to abortion.'"

"Progressive socialist leaders like Mayor Breed want everyone to swallow the lie that abortion is a woman’s right -- even something to celebrate," said the reverend. "But it’s not. Abortion is murdering a child in its mother’s womb."

He continued, "The Bible says, 'Woe to those who call evil good and good evil …' (Isaiah 5:20). I’m thankful to God for the many states and individuals across this great land that are standing for life."

The states on San Francisco's pro-life blacklist are Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

The ban goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2010.

The ban goes into effect on Jan. 1, 2010.

Are you certain of that date? Shouldn’t it be Jan. 1, 2020?

Good riddance. There are plenty of evildoers in our state. We don’t need more from San Francisco.

It's about time our Christian leaders publicly call it murder. There has been only a very few that have stated such. But if more called abortion out for exactly what it is-murder-and described the procedure in all it's graphic tale, public opinion would change.
