We left our dear little LCA Lutheran when it was mandated into the fold of ELCA.......saw the handwriting on the wall
.....and found a wonderfully conservative, traditional Bible encompassing PCA Presbyterian.....WHICH LEFT (in the 70’s) the mainline apostate leaning USA Presbyterian

I went to a Presbyterian PCA in Los Angeles the Sunday after 9/11......it was packed to the rafters and the sermon was Biblically sound and strong, also comforting
We attend a PCA church also, and thankfully it’s still Biblically based Gospel and Reformed. Sadly, the General Assembly is being infiltrated by liberals, just as happened with the PCUS in the 40s/50s/60s....

Exactly! They are not Christian and they are not Lutheran.
As there are other faithful Lutheran synods I prefer to call the real Lutherans confessional Lutherans - those that hold to the Augsburg confession. The ELCA is an embarrassment

I have a friend who was raised in the Presbyterian Church who recently left it. Pretty much for this reason.

I left a PCA church after the pastor taught that children born to Christian parents are automatically saved. He taught such children didn't need to ever repent because God has been their God from birth.
Millions (?) Of Bible believing Presbyterians in the NAPARC churches (www.naparc.org). It’s the main lines that have staggered back to Sodom.
