OSAS will lead many to destruction, IMHO.

~ ~ ~

James 2:14-26 New International Version (NIV)

Faith and Deeds

14 What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. 19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.

20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? 21 Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? 22 You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. 23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. 24 You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

25 In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? 26 As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

It goes beyond OSAS. Consensus kills the soul. It's the devil with the strongest choke hold, with jumping-to-conclusions ("reasoning amongst themselves") a close runner-up.

The Jesus of the Bible is the quintessential anti-establishment can-do fellow who gets up before the sun to take care of the needs of his animals and knock out some chores before heading off to help and heal people. There's the guy to follow (emulate), but the simple message is the one nobody wants.

Individuality is where everyone has a unique purpose that God designed just for him or her. The Messiah's mission is to lead and show the way up and out. Your sins are forgiven, so you can get up now and go for it... no longer paralyzed so there shouldn't be a problem, unless disability is preferred.

Fancy mumbo-jumbo religious dogma is like the "nutrition" label on Little Debbie snacks that you just have to take on faith. She looks so sweet, but holy smokes...

... which is why the truth has been routed unmolested through the popular culture e.g. iconic songs, movies, traditions, and historical events. Who's looking in any of those places. No wonder nobody can locate the Ark of the Covenant.

Meanwhile, established religion is a dead-serious business reliant on total lockdown. It's like the government schools that do everything in their power to churn out automatons who are trained to be wary of deniers, because those deniers would destroy the world just by showing up.

Jesus overthrowing the tables and saying that every stone would be cast down... at some point those events were relegated to ancient history, the fault of those other experts.

The Spirit of Elohim is the Spirit of Revelation (discovery). Let there be light, and there was light! It's the simple meaning .

Discover the unknown.

Curiosity didn't kill the cat. Consensus, conformity, and complacency did.

Continuing In Faith Is Not A Work

That's right, because it's not any work at all if it is love. And it's not any work if it is fun.

Like God wouldn't know how to match people up with their dream jobs? He sees where dreams, interests and motivations lie.

If the dream is to demand a living wage, or be entitled to free stuff paid for by somebody else, well won't people be livid when EBT generational-dependency Jesus is unmasked as a fraud. Talk about missing the mark.

The real Jesus would be having fun teaching little kids how to milk a cow. So sweet.

When Jesus was asked a direct question; He gave a direct answer:

John 6:25-40

25 When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”

26 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”

28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

30 So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’[c]

32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”

34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”

35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But as I told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. 37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. 38 For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. 40 For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
