The MercifulServant channel is the top Muslim channel on YouTube. After YouTube announced its latest crackdown on "hate speech," MercifulServant wasted no time in encouraging Muslims to mass-flag channels that are critical of Islam, in order to get them banned.
MercifulServant's subscribers replied by flagging David Wood's videos (along with videos by the Apostate Prophet, Abdullah Sameer, and others) and by asking YouTube to deplatform Acts17Apologetics. Will the new campaign of "censorship jihad" be successful? David Wood discusses the issue.

YouTube TV on cable has been doing their own banning; channels such as from Diamond & Silk, Gemma O’Doherty and others play the first three seconds of a video and then cut it off (they play normally on a smartphone or computer, through). Meanwhile, the glorious China Global Television Network gets free rein and doesn’t need an app.

Youtube, Facebook, Twitter etc could just have local user controls that block a person they disagree with. No need for banning unless of course you are a wannabe dictator.
