Christian charity Open Doors was informed that armed members of the terrorist organisation - that has pledged allegiance to IS - invaded the Christian community of Kuda near Madagali in Adamawa state, north east Nigeria on Monday.
They then went door to door, killing as many as 25 people.
Field workers have asked supporters around the world to pray for the Lord's grace to the Church in the Madagali area as they face renewed instability.
A spokesperson from Open Doors told Premier: "Pray for the Holy Spirit to be at work in the lives of all those affected.
"Pray that security will be restored soon."

Modern Christendom may be seeing a call whereby the Lord is not satisfied for it to be trying to live privately to itself. That might be the secular civic ideal, but it is not the reality for the “good fight.” As wickedness increases, so should spiritual activity in the Lord.

They have been abandoned by the world and I can see they feel neglected, as they have. The world does not care about the plight of Christians, it persecutes them.
It's important for us to pray for persecuted Christians everywhere, but it's GOD'S job to defend them.

God has used countries and armies to both punish His people (captivity in Babylon) and to rescue them (when Cyrus the Great took over Babylon and set them free). If I recall correctly, some of the Hebrews didn’t want Cyrus to free them - he wasn’t a Hebrew.
