As terrorist attacks on Christians become commonplace, the Vatican's top liturgist is urging Catholics to no longer keep silent.
Government officials in Montreal jettisoned the crucifix from City Hall and witnessed an attack on a Catholic priest during Mass one day later. Fifty Christians were also recently murdered in Nigeria, with Islamic terrorist attacks seeming to become the norm in France and the Philippines.
Foreseeing the onslaught of such violence, Cdl. Robert Sarah is calling for Catholics to suffer in silence no longer. During a homily on the feast of Mary, Mother of the Church at the cathedral in Chartres, France, Cdl. Sarah gave Catholics their marching orders.
"Are we going to leave them [our children] to be delivered to error, to hopeless nihilism, or to aggressive Islamism?" Sarah asked. "We must proclaim to the world that our hope has a name: Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world and of humanity! We can no longer be silent!"

Decrying the godless vacuum opened up by Christian apathy in Western civilization, Sarah observed, "Western society has become like a drunken boat in the night. She does not have enough love to take in children, to protect them beginning from their mother's womb, to protect them from the aggression of pornography."
This emptiness, said Sarah, leaves a vacuum that is then filled with the "maddest ideologies."
"A Western society without God can become the cradle of an ethical and moral terrorism more virulent and more destructive than Islamist terrorism," he explained.
Catholic leaders are seemingly unalarmed by the fact that Islamic terrorist attacks in France and around the world are rapidly escalating. Violence toward Christian places of worship in France has skyrocketed 245 percent from 2008 to 2017, and such violence around the world is at a record high.

I am certainly not the ‘turn the other cheek’ Catholic. I guess I just never learned that lesson. Let’s mix it up a little with these leftists, folks.
