John 17:3 - This is eternal life, that they may know YOU, the only TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

Acts 4:12 - Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved.

Did you read / hear that? How exclusive can you get?!!!

When talk about this, people will often respond, “That is good for you....but I don’t believe it....and since I don’t believe it, it can’t be true.

But I’d like you to try that approach on the law of gravity...

“I don’t believe the law of gravity so it can’t be true.” If I jump out of a ten story building without any assistance from a parachute or other device, the same thing will happen to me whether I believe it (in the law of gravity) or not. Because it’s a law of God.

And one of God’s spiritual laws is the coming to God through Jesus Christ. And God gets to make the rules. I didn’t make this up, I’m just telling you what the Bible says....

Another example: There is only one way for a human being to be born physically...a sperm and an egg have to come together. How narrow minded of God! How exclusive of God to make physical birth so one way. Why then should we be surprised that as the law of God concerning Physical birth is one way, then the law of God concerning spiritual birth is just one way, through Jesus Christ.

Yes, Christianity is exclusive...but it is the most inclusive exclusivity that you will read about in your life.

When someone comes to you and says I don’t believe in Christ because it is too exclusive,.,.the answer is it is the most inclusive faith of all.....Jesus said, “Come unto me ALL YOU who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”

Jesus has the scars in His body that prove He bore the penalty of sin in His body so that we might have, alone through Him, the Way to God. If you want to go to heaven, if you want to have your sins forgiven, there is only one Person who can do that for you and that is Jesus Christ. That is not the word of David Jeremiah. That is the Word of the Bible, that is the Word of Jesus Himself, the Son of God.

I’m going to heaven not because of anything I have done. Instead, I have a Savior who blazed the trail so that my sins could be forgiven and I could go to heaven to be with Him forever. Because of what He did, He is taking me to heaven. He is my Way. I want you to make Him your Way today. This passage (and others) tell us that there is only one Way to God and His name is Jesus. And I recommend Him to you.

No, the only way to God is through Jesus Christ, not through a church. That’s the point of this teaching.

No, the only way to God is through Jesus Christ, not through a church.

churches have been corrupt, leftist, homo and baby murder.

if you want to know Jesus, pray for it.

I didn't watch the video, but I think I know where it goes.

IMHO, most Christians and others get it wrong. It's not that hard to understand, but harder than most care to think about.

I totally believe Jesus, and scripture backs his words, that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

What Jesus did was to establish a new covenant, a new and better way of getting to the Father, by believing in Him.

John 14:3 ...I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am.)

This doesn't mean others, those who never knew him, are excluded from the Father. He plainly states in Matt. 21:32, that even those who speak against him will be forgiven (Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven...).

What will not be forgiven is to be against the Holy Spirit (unrighteous sinners), Matt. 21:32 (...whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.…)

Jesus IS going to judge everyone, now or at the end (i.e., no one comes to the Father except through me).

Even the prophet Daniel must wait until the end.

Dan. 12:13 You will rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the days

Who would judge Daniel unworthy of having earned a heavenly reward?

“Many of those will be the ones claiming Christ is too narrow-minded or bigoted. Yet even applying those terms to the Holy and perfect God displays a mindset that thinks their own value system is superior to God’s. We are to be trusting as children before God as He knows what we don’t and our ways are not His ways. It is a sin of pride to think we know better.”

Our pastor was preaching on Revelation (again, doing a long series) - and this was on the wrath of God.

He made the comment that Jesus only came down hard on the religous leaders. Their self-rightousness, holier than thou attitudes, etc. (I wonder though - were the money changers in the temple religous leaders? He also drove out the merchants, who I would imagine were just regular merchants.)

I might need to review his actual verbiage (on-line recording) and send him an email! But - his point was, Jesus had a lot more mercy on the ordinary people and sinners of the day than he did the corrupt religious leaders.

He didn’t discuss it - but in the chapter that he was preaching about it talks about the 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes of Israel, along with the Christians. (Note - our church, as do I, view the 12,000 as just a number representive completeness, or whole (or something like that, I forget the term). But the numbers 12, 10, 144 (12x12), 7, etc. are just symbolic, and are symbolic all through the Bible.

There is only one way to God.

By going within and through Jesus.

However, people, including most Christians don’t understand the Journey to being “One with God.”

They think of it as following Jesus down a path to a destination. It doesn’t work that way as the journey is within self.

When you go within, your conscious awareness expands beyond your physical body. You are born of the spirit as you begin to perceive directly from your consciousness rather than being limited to your five senses.

As your soul is cleansed and expands as we accept Jesus within us, it keeps getting larger and larger.

Let’s use a different model for the journey. A model of Russian Nesting Dolls where we are the little doll in the middle and God is the big outer doll. We can not get to God without going through ALL the dolls between us and God. Thus the only way to God is through Jesus and He is my savior.

Are there other dolls between us and God that we must go through to find Him? I will leave that question for you to find out on your own journey.

Read John 14 where Jesus describes that “He is in the Father, and Our Father is in Him.” And later on in John 14 where Jesus states that if “He is in us”(which is what communion is all about) then His Father that is in Him is also in us.

Imagine interpreting scripture with any other model than the Russian Nesting Dolls? It makes it all easy to understand. It is also my personal experience.

For example, the concept of Rapture is being “raised up” in consciousness as that is what is necessary for it to expand.

Thankfully the big outer doll sends us the Holy Spirit so that we may grow to find Him.

In meditation and prayer, I always see higher consciousness or God as Light. There are many Lights of varying brightness, all existing in Him I see the Holy Spirit as a liquid Golden Light. I see the Angel’s as brighter white Light. And the brightest Light is the Light that shines from God in Heaven down through the portal of darkness to us. I followed it and experienced its bliss when I died.

The Bible is a true and accurate description of the journey and destination.

I suspect many have witnessed Jesus but not yet accepted Him. and, I can say with certanity, if you call for Jesus in your life, he will appear.

I witnessed Him in my life many times and yet, never trusted Him with it. I still struggle with it all these years later and I keep trying. Thankful for every day I get to wake up and try again, thankful for all the blessings He has given me and I know when I call upon Him that He hears me.

I'm proof it's one thing to see Jesus intervene and act on your behalf in your life, it's another thing to actually repent and turn away from the things that separate us from Him. It took so long for me to finally repent and turn away and am glad I finally did. I just wish I'd have done it so much sooner.

Thank you for your posts and giving me the opportunity to open up a little here. Glad to have found you here on FR.

Oprah said .... one of the biggest mistakes humans make is to believe there is only one way to God. Actually there are many diverse paths to what you call God...(other similar assertions are described....)

All roads lead to God, Oprah’s correct. But, only one leads to salvation and Heaven. The others will get you a meeting, but not past judgement.
