It’s also MORE than a RANT— it’s FAR MORE than a RANT, in FACT.
It’s the freely proffered gift of life in Jesus Christ.
Hell is eternal punishment for sin against an eternally righteous God. And eternity is a long time, especially towards the end.
Who said anything about a rant? Try the decaf.
The RANT REVEALS ITSELF.
Would not hell be meaningless except to beings intended for heaven?
Yours does, but nothing in the post is a rant.
The answer to that question is beside the point made.
The point made? We have obscure verbiage when you say that. Made by you?
A lot of people like to bray about hell, and yet hardly reveal even a glimmer of heaven. That isn’t edifying — that’s bullying.
so does the reply... what is so hard to see?
If righteousness makes possible the gift of grace, through the work of Christ, then emphasis of righteousness by use of caps is a celebration, not a rant. If you think use of caps is a rant, then say it plainly: The use of caps is a rant. Simple enough.
That is the thing my friend and I so glad you get it, why do people focus on the negative and not the free GIFT in Jesus (John 1:12, 3:16-17, Rom. 3:23, 6:23, 10:2-4, Eph. 2:8-9, 1 John 5:10-13, Rev. 3:20)? Maybe because they do not want to be delivered in RIGHTEOUSNESS (Rom. 1:18-32).
He gives ETERNAL life to all who call upon Him in RIGHTEOUSNESS - John 3:16!
Whoa there, easy on the perjoratves. If you dont know to what point Im referring, just say so. Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels, according to Scripture. My point that hell is eternal is plainly stated. If thats not edifying in this lifetime, it may prove so in due course. Peace, A
Agreed, and Im drunk in the Spirit rejoicing in your use of emphasis on what a gift, not fodder for any rant.
I see you’re at it again trying to cause division & strife among Christian Believers in Christ.
Not surprised since that is all you do here.
Ignore the RedNeck folks and remember this Proverb 26:4
Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Or you will also be like him.
Proverbs 23:9
Do not speak to a fool, for he will despise the wisdom of your words.
Good point. And the passage escapes me, but the verse about casting pearls before swine also seems apropos to these festivities.
Jesus warned more about hell than He taught about heaven.
Nay, that is a common error of assertion.
Jesus taught about heaven by the way He acted.
The things you think are wisdom, are not, when taken in the wrong spirit.
I’d also like to ask you for a church reference so I can check up on your bona fides of behavior.
I will gladly provide mine.
