I think it is VERY important to ask for prayers and to pray but it is also important to rejoice when prayers are answered.
God Loves us so much He shares in both our Joy as well as our sorrow.

It is better to enter a house of mourning than a house of feasting, since death is the end of every man, and the living should take this to heart.As tragic as untimely death can be, it can also be an opportunity used by God.
A member of my church recently passed away and at the service his wife was able to bring her very large family together, a number of whom had never heard the Gospel.
The love and devotion to God and to each other that was shown in our church made such an impact that it even moved the director of the funeral home, who had never seen something like it in his life.

My ex did her best to alienate our children from me....once they were of age, they both opted to move in with me and have little to do with their Mother except to be polite. God works in His own ways and we have to trust in Him to make it all work out the way it needs to work out....
