On this week's show, Chris Pryor discusses a recent encounter with a parishioner of the Society of Saint Pius X (SSPX) and shows some critical examples of intellectual Antisemitism within the group.

Yep. reading some of the websites, you pick that up. It’s the toxin that kills what would otherwise be an admirable attitude of appreciation of the best of Catholic tradition. Sad. (As Trump would say).
One that I thought above such behavior some time back had an article complaining about the "Sanhedrin" ruling the world. It seems like a disease among these people.
And of course, right wing/traditionalist Catholics are virulently anti-Israel, unlike American-style Fundamentalist Protestants (who supposedly are supposed to be more hateful than anybody else in the world).
Everything you describe, yes, I have also seen and for years have tried to offset the racist prejudice with a few comments. I concluded finally this backwards, ignorant attitude is interwoven with the trad mentality. They want everything to go back in history, so they also embrace 15th century lies used to scare and control the populace.
Until I discovered “trad” sites (even the best, as you say) I had no conception anyone currently believed this crap, except maybe muslims in a few countries of oppression. Sad to say, these extreme trads also spew this anti-semitism on FR. It seems their comments are tolerated, and mods do not follow policy and remove the obvious bigoted statements?
" the Catholic Church has always been accustomed to pray for the Jewish people, who were the depository of divine promises up until the arrival of Jesus Christ, notwithstanding their subsequent blindness, or rather, because of this very blindness. Moved by that charity, the Apostolic See has protected the same people from unjust ill-treatment, and just as it censures all hatred and enmity among people, so it altogether condemns in the highest degree possible hatred against the people once chosen by God, viz., the hatred that now is what is usually meant in common parlance by the term known generally as anti-Semitism.
The problem is that there are those who now believe that these comments constitute "anti-semitism". And many of them call themselves "Catholic".
Nostrae Aetate, as you know. Shall we freeze Christian/Jewish relations in 1928? The subtle theological aspects are still developing, which can only lead to more harmony in world. Substitution theory is essentially condemned by Catholics and Jews. But some want to keep a false and patronizing view of the Jews until the end of time. What could be more arrogant for a Christian?
Yes so according to you the Catholic Church condemned her own teaching for hundreds of years. No the very fact that Vatican 2 contradicts Catholic teaching should give all true Catholics pause. Instead there are those who prefer to condemn those Catholics who recognize that the Catholic Church can’t contradict herself.
But Pius XI is very clear what constitutes anti-Semitism. Others (like yourself) call Catholics anti-Semitic or "bigoted" when they are merely showing that they believe and profess the Catholic Faith as it was taught since the beginning of the Church.
I once believed that Nostra Aetate was Catholic when I converted from .... the Jewish faith. It is not. It is not a "development" because it contradicts prior teaching. The Catholic Church can not contradict what it has always taught.
