Is the pope going to say “who am I to judge? God made them that way”

Gay, gay, gay. Let’s talk and think about being gay. Who’s gay? Are you gay? What about that guy, gay, or not gay?

Part of the official, stated goals of the gay agenda is to keep people talking and thinking about gayness. Especially if it can damage the church. That’s a bonus.

Older, lonely, priest to younger priest: “My mistake. When I heard you praying, ‘Holy moly, St. Peter’ I thought you asked for my peter in your hole with moles.”

I'm thinking this whole event was staged by a couple of homosexuals in an attempt to discredit Christianity and the Catholic church.

Item #1...Both admitted to being priests with no subsequent verification whatsoever.

#2...The only verification of Berrio being a priest was taken from the church website. We don't know yet if this guy is even the real Berrio.

#3...Cortez, who also admitted to being a priest from the same church, a spokesman from the church said they never heard of him........

It's highly unlikely that two homosexual priests, or even any homosexuals, would commit their sex act in a car, on a busy street, in broad daylight unless they intended to get caught...........

As a disclaimer, I'm not a Catholic nor a believer in religion but I do believe in a God.

This story stinks to high heavens and the haters here would be better off if they withheld judgment of the Catholic church until all the facts come out..........

1300 block of Ocean Drive...

Which probably has the heaviest foot traffic in Miami Beach outside of Lincoln Road. It is right by a popular public beach.

They likely will blame celibacy, but whether “gay” or not celibacy is celibacy, and what was not reported was a priest having sex in public view with a woman.

In fact I cannot remember the last time I saw a report of THAT particular betrayal of priestly vows, yet the news, for years, has been swamped with reports of the latter kind.

Is it all a fault of missing reports, or is there an actual and overwhelming majority of incidents of priestly sexual betrayal of their vows towards the homosexual type versus the heterosexal type?

It would be good, for public clarity as well as the Roman Catholic Church if there was a good study that had the answer and made it public. The Roman Catholic Church cannot be free of the issue without the truth exposed and admitted with change and redemption sought.

Either something has flipped, from the past, in terms of the numbers of priests that have decided to remain priests while violating their vows of celibacy, or historical reports of such violations have not matched the actual past history and might have hid much of it. It must be one or the other.

If it is the former, then it suggests that priests have not been immune to modern social revolutions and in that particularly not the sexual revolution begun in the 1960s. Prior to the 1960s even when young people could not see themselves as priests, there was more respect for priests and for the life priests chose. As that respect for the life of the priests fell in society, throughout the sexual revolution, so it seems did fall many young priests respect for their vows; suggesting they too were influenced by the sexual revoltion.

Of course, they had help on the theological side, with all sorts of Marxist approached to Christian theology and criticism of Christian traditions. ALL Christian schools of theology have had some subversion from the Marxists.

... and mere days ago Cupich said this was an issue of “Clericalism” and not homosexuality. Never mind this is Cupich’s own Archdiocese.

These two would probably be considered “heroes” in the Episcopagan(oops!) Episcopal Church USA.
