"Shriners hide the terrifying abuses of a secretive organization behind smiling clowns, candy and tear-jerking, sentimental ads for children’s hospitals while soliciting millions from an unsuspecting uninformed public."

Is it true that masons are required to take a blood oath and failure to keep it is punishable by death?

But what of the spiritually of those who are able and yet nothing but complain about those who do?

14 What good is it, my brothers, if someone claims to have faith, but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you tells him, “Go in peace; stay warm and well fed,” but does not provide for his physical needs, what good is that? James 2:14-16

I believe your summary is correct, but would add that in my experience those that hate them the most give little or nothing to anything half as worthwhile as their hospitals.
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

And you factually know this how (you have access to the ‘haters’ bank accounts or something)?

I can tell you a few things:

A Koran is at every meeting (fact). My opinion-Islam is evil. Consequently any person supporting them is either ignorant or evil.

My dad was a high level Shriner for years. They used to pester him relentlessly to beg for money for them at grocery stores until the day he died from a battle with cancer. They were relentless! Even when his health was obviously failing. You see how many fingers I’m holding up? That’s how many came to his funeral.

My mother never heard a word from them after their ‘source’ was gone.

Yes. Imho, any organization that dresses itself up in pagan/ Muslim regalia is more than suspect

Ps: of course there are some members who are innocently in it for business or social reasons. My comment was to the organization and those who run it

Me too! Here's a picture of my lodge.

Oops. Posting that picture is probably against lodge secrecy rules.

Yep.

They are allegories or metaphorical and designed to invest you with a certain level of integrity.

They are not literal in any sense as the penalties are against the laws of anyplace on the place on the planet.

James was the disgruntled step brother of Jesus. I discount that book as in total contradiction of the rest of the bible.Jame preached that Jesus died for nothing and that accepting Him as Son of God was meaningless. James taught the return to the legalism of the old Testament. It is not by works that you are saved and salvation is a simple gift received by those who believe in him as the Son of God. John 3:16 through 18.
Actually, the “bible” was assembled by a bunch of priests at the council of laodicia circa 363 (330 years after the resurrection) James, the Epistle of Jude, 2 Peter, 2 and 3 John, the Book of Revelation, the Gospel of the Hebrews, Are all disputed by many as belonging in the book. How do you leave out the eye witness account of an actual disciple ( Bartholomew) if written by him in fact. For example, Mark and Luke were written by other people 80 years later. These guys that voted on these books at Laodicia ,in Turkey. were not God. They were just 40 powerful priest in Asia minor . They actually forbade the reading of another books in their meeting .
That is so you see where I am coming from on James. I dont worship the bible. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Schnoebelen has a very suspect background himself--I came across him when I was researching some Satanic cults he was previously involved with. From one of his former associates: Bill Schnoebelen and the Coven from Hell - Part 1

When you consider how many Masons involved in the creation of this country than if they are as evil as many suggest here then the country is corrupt beyond redemption for the Bible declares that anything touched by the hand of the enemy is evil and corrupt and will fail. In fact anyone who supports this country is supporting the work of the devil. You can’t have it both ways.

Well they were Masons. Not Shriner. There are serious questions about the spiritual beliefs of the Masonic club but that has more to do with their salvation than their conduct at least in the Masons. Masons are great disciplined men who work hard and have strict moral standards, That doesn’t mean they didn’t or don’t go to Hades for not accepting that Jesus died for their sins, in my view. But that is just me.

There are a lot of things believed about the Masons. The material is out there online. I have no idea if any of it is true, but you might want to do some digging just in case. As a Christian, a lot of it bothers me, but I have no contacts on the subject. My brother was a Mason, but I have no first hand knowledge, just what I’ve read. The satanic claim is out there a lot.Personally I steer clear of anything that is even suspected to be a tool of satan. He is very busy in the world these days.

As I said you can’t pick and choose if they are evil and followers of the enemy you are bound to stand against them and their works.

I joined as a Christian with the thought that if it violated my religion or conscience then it isn’t for me.

Some lodges are Arabic/Moslem others are Hebrew.

Most are Christian.

We have a couple Jewish members in our lodge.
