Activist Priest [Pfleger] Calls for an Anti-Violence Protest, Closing Down Chicago Highway

Chicago, Ill., Jun 27, 2018 / 03:16 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- The social advocate and Chicago priest Father Michael Pfleger has invited anti-violence activists to protest gun violence by closing a portion of the Dan Ryan Expressway, where it is part of I-94.

As many as 1,000 people could join Father Pfleger July 7. Beginning at the entrance ramp on 79th Street, the protestors will march about mile and a half until the exit ramp off 67th Street, shutting down the highway’s northbound lanes.

Father Pfleger is the pastor of St Sabina Catholic Church, a parish which has hosted similar protests in the past. On Monday, he posted on Twitter and Facebook encouraging people to participate in the rally. The march will follow a few days after U.S. Independence Day, which sees annual spike in shootings in Chicago.

“As we celebrate Independence weekend, there’s not a sense of freedom in many of our communities and for many of our young people,” Father Pfleger told the Chicago Tribune. “Instead, there’s a sense of fear.”

According to the Chicago Tribune, Illinois State Police have declined to comment on the protest, but are aware of its presence. Father Pfleger announced the plans to notify commuters in advance, but he does not plan to receive permission from authorities.

Why doesn’t he shut down the south side of Chicago on any given Saturday night?

He and Obama’s “reverend” Wright are two birds of a communist “Liberation Theology” feather.

FALSANI:
Do you have people in your life that you look to for guidance?

OBAMA:
Well, my pastor [Jeremiah Wright] is certainly someone who I have an enormous amount of respect for.
I have a number of friends who are ministers. Reverend Meeks is a close friend and colleague of mine in the state Senate. Father Michael Pfleger is a dear friend, and somebody I interact with closely.

This is not a protest.

This is low level terrorism.

So the Archdiocese has no authority over this priest or do they agree with him?

It'll divert attention from the real problem and its solution. This guy has been a Chicago laughing stock and sh@&-stirrer forever. I happened to catch some news footage of him conducting "Mass" at his all-black parish church. It was creepy and cringe-worthy to see this pasty-white, effeminate priest prancing around -- shucking and jiving -- in gaudy kente cloth garments for an audience of older black women and a few teenagers.

Obviously they have authority over him, but they seem to be afraid of him. Priests in the Chicago Archdiocese are routinely moved from parish to parish after a certain number of years . . . except for Pfleger. Despite disapproving of some of his hijinx and his craving for attention and celebrity, several cardinals have declined to move him away from his all-black parish.

Place your bets on how many violent incidents there will be. The left just can’t help themselves.

Why is he a still a priest? Why hasn’t he been defrocked? Excommunicated? He doesn’t preach the Gospel, he preaches Karl Marx, the doctrines of demons.

This is the ‘priest’ who did the Hillary bit, where she all of a sudden looked behind her and saw a (GASP) BLACK MAN!!! WHO ARE YOU? She asked.......this Pfleger guy is a White wannabe Black race baiter. Look up the YouTube of his 2008 ‘performance’.....if it hasn’t been scrubbed (like everything else that could hurt Obama).
