The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies. Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries. He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.(Psalm 110)
In the 110th Psalm, Jahweh The LORD of the covenant, speaks unto Messiah, calling him Adonai,(the Lord).
He bids him to sit at his right hand, and to await from there his ultimate triumph, the utter and complete conquest and subjugation of his enemies. The head of those enemies has already been crushed by the Messiah. All that remains is for the people of the Messiah to perform the ‘mop-up’ operation.

The Messiah is often referred to as “The Right Hand” or the “Son of his Right Hand” in many places in the Bible. For example it was the Right hand of the LORD which was praised for smashing the power of Pharaoh and Egypt in the Exodus,
“Your right hand, O LORD, has become glorious in power; your right hand, O LORD has dashed the enemy in pieces” (Exodus 15:6)
“Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving strength of His right hand” (Psalm 20:6)
“You have a mighty arm; strong is your hand, and high is Your right hand” (Psalm 89:13)
“Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! For He has done marvelous things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained Him the victory” (Psalm 98:1)
In this vision the Messiah has won a decisive victory over his enemies, and over the enemies of God. He has “gained the victory…” and is now honored by the LORD himself, and is seated in the highest place of glory, honor and power.
The fact that He, the Messiah its at the Right hand of Jahweh has tremendous implications for the universe. From that position at the right hand of God, He rules and reigns as Lord of all things. Messiah is Lord, Our God reigns!
Even now in this dark day, which is called “…their hour and the power of darkness…”Jesus is LORD, he rules over all of the earth.
Yes it is presently the evil day, this time when evil men abound, waxing worse and worse, deceiving and being decieved, and the Kings of the earth and their rulers, seek to transform the entire world into a new and Satanic order. They take their counsel together, directly against the LORD and His Anointed(Messiah), but make no mistake about it, Jesus the Messiah is LORD.

He will soon be revealed, as the true LORD of the earth, in an open and undeniable way. His rule for the time being is the rule of voluntary persuasion of the souls of men, and it is a rule of of quiet providence over the earth.
Presently he rules in the midst of his enemies. The horrifying onslaught of Islamic terror and threatening has not been able to stem the tide of the thousands and perhaps hundreds of thousands of Muslims who are hearing of Jesus for the first time and turning to him in spite of an almost sure death at the hands of fanatical friends and family. Jesus is LORD, he rules in the midst of his enemies.
The Twelve Coptic Christians who were beheaded on a beach in Egypt wouldn’t budge even in the horror of a mass beheadings, they sang songs of love and adoration to Jesus, the Right Hand of the LORD, who saved their souls and delivered them rom the fear of death. In the very face of his enemies, Messiah rules.
The Bed and Breakfast owners, bakers, county clerks and hospital personnel who would not flinch when commanded to bow to the idols of sexual perversion, (Homosexual weddings), lost their businesses and livelihoods rater than succumb to the gross and deformed demands of the Sodomites, show all of the world that the Messiah rules, and that there are issues that transcend the things of this life.
For now the rule of Messiah is persuasive and conscientious, people willing serve him in this the day of His power. This phase of his rule , in the face of his enemies, is executed through his servants, the other “seed of the woman”, when they willingly and voluntarily obey him even in the face of temporal loss.
But soon His rule will become an obvious reality to all, even the most degenerate and spiritually deformed. Messiah will soon come to this earth to take his Kingdom, and to assume the place of open rule and power….
…and to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; when he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.( 1 These 1:6-10)
