Pope Francis delivered a Holy Thursday homily for a congregation of priests attending Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome in which he told them that they “can” tell adulterers to “go and sin no more,” but should not do it “with the legalistic tone of truth as definition.”
Instead, he told them, they should do it with the “tone of truth as fidelity.”
“I suggest that you meditate on three areas of priestly closeness where the words, ‘Do everything Jesus tells you,’ need to be heard—in a thousand different ways but with the same motherly tone—in the hearts of all those with whom we speak,” he said. …

Put the emphasis on God’s love and forgiveness of all sins while at the same time making sure to be real about how bad sin is? Sure, that’s good.

This pope is but a false leader of the one True Church; he is not the Church. This, too, shall pass, as Christ has promised us that the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against His Church.

I don’t see God mentioned here at all...
I wonder if the “Pope” realizes that when Jesus said that, He was being obedient to the Old Covenant that He lived under.....if any of us were capable of “going and sinning no more” then He would not have had to die for our sins.....anyone who doubts this is really delusional about his own ability to not sin under the Old Covenant - which was put in place to prove that we were incapable of abiding by it....
