Try it yourself. Get a guesstimate of what percentage of FReepers think contraception is either intrinsically wrong for moral reasons, or to be rejected for public-political, socio-medical, or other consequentialist reasons.
You will find, I think, that the overwhelming preponderance of FReepers see nothing whatsoever "wrong" with contraception, or see it as an obvious universal good, right up there with soap and cotton underwear.
I would agree that probably most freepers support contraception without fully understanding that it influenced all the disasters of the sexual revolution - including abortion as a form of contraception. I was thinking that, in general, they recognize that the revolution was a disaster.
Think you are correct to a point. But this article history. Any Freeper of good will just has to have any paradigm like you describe shaken by the post. I hope.
