Actually this is Non-Christian Europe 4.0. The first three iterations were: 1.0, The Reign of Terror (French Revolution); 2.0, The Bolsheviks; and 3.0, The Nazis. How did those work out? (Yes, you can argue that Russia is not part of Europe, but it has always seemed ORIENTED towards Europe, rather than the Far East. It is Christian, not Taoist, or Hindu, or Buddhist.)

Non-Christian Europe will not rise up, but Muslim Europe will certainly rise up.

Yup. Hitler finished off Christian Europe. And Judaism in Europe.

I hate to break it to you but rock music is more dead than Christianity is in Europe

Rock is simply dead everywhere

A very sobering and very TRUE observation.

Thankfully, God has the final say on this matter, not pollsters and Western doomsdayists.

Saul of Tarsus was aiding in the murder of Christians before he converted in Damascus and became Paul the Apostle.

And on that note: I have spent some good time abroad the past few years including in UK and former USSR, and brief stops elsewhere in Europe and this does not reflect my observations of the general trend.

It is NOT an overnight process by any means, but I feel the younger generation is set to be more Christian than parents/grandparents. And some who are already Christian “in soul” don’t immediately identify with any one denomination.

In terms of general congregation numbers: during the dry spell in the UK: Africans and other citizens from the Commonwealth/former colonial holdings have kept Anglican and Catholic churches alive and are often the ones evangelizing their “native” British/ European colleagues and neighbors. Inviting them to church and things.

Also in terms of Anglican/Catholic leadership: African clergy are among the most doctrinally conservative.

*Muslims* in Europe (migrant and second-generation alike) *convert* too! They are entering the fold of Christ. Some stay in Europe, and if they are refugees: plan to return to the Middle East when ready - as quite a few left thriving lives and had high-end professions before their countries became torn up by conflict.

Countries outside of Europe, like Iran are experiencing a surge of Christianity even if the media neglects to cover it.

Conservative Catholicism in France is on the upswing including among youth.

Many more things going on, but the point is...Christ *always* wins. And he came to change people, like Saul of Tarsus into Paul the Apostle.

Ask them if they believe in Karl Marx as their saviour and dream of a Socializt Utopian “heaven”.

Everybody believes in something, some see themselves as gods.

...”Something is going to fill that void, and they aren’t going to like it.”...

In this country, drug addictions and, unfortunately, suicide, are methods many use to try and fill that void. I pray every day that God will not spit out the now hedonistic nations, including ours, clearing the way for the natural consequences of sin to happen, but, rather, will send miracles to his true followers as a witness to the world that He is Lord and that He is not asleep during these awful times in the US and the world. Human nature unleashed is a terrible thing. Only God can transform the evil which strains to control the human heart.

“Something is going to fill that void, and they aren’t going to like it.”

It already did, and several decades ago: Nazism, Bolshevism, and the non-violent atheistic socialism in between. The godlessness of Europe has gone on for decades; it is only news now because the fruits are so obvious. WWI in particular left many Europeans disillusioned, and there were widespread sentiments that their institutions (states, monarchs, religious leaders) had failed to function. There are disturbing parallels in this country since the 1960s, and it also has a religious angle: The Second Vatican Council has led to plummeting numbers of faithful Catholics, while many mainstream Protestant denominations have either dwindled or morphed into political groups with no visible ties to the Bible.

Hitler is dead but his dreams live on in a united socialist Europe led by Germany with no use for Christianity at all.

I believe you, the thought was the 100,000s of thousands of euro kids flocking to the huge music venues and festivals across Europe as if on pilgrimage. Thanks for the genre updates.

Could it be that the election of Donald J. Trump is God’s message to the USA that He is giving extra time for it to get its act together?
