Christophobic Nazism: “Hitler was a Catholic,”

Hitler was a Progressive, Socialist Liberal aligned with the Democrat Party in the US, and up until the Day Hitler attacked their mother Russia, they fully supported him in every way.

By having millions of people murdered, hitler had left the Catholic church long ago. He acted against the teaching of the Church.

When muzzies murder, they act in accordance with the teachings of their “holy” book.

He most certainly was not, the Nazis followed a pagan nativist religion.

Imagine the contrast with Islam and its many slaughtering, raping, oppressing conquerors? Those lands are still held captive. And the muslims loved Hitler.

Would this be the same as suggesting that since progressivism is closely linked to Socialism and Communism, which has killed far more numbers than Hitler between Stalin and Mao, that progressivism, socialism, and communism is/are dangerous....?

...found in old books...

That's the scary part. Soon there will be only a few of these books left and Libs will just write new books "showing" how all those old books are/were "wrong".

And... the Inquisition had nothing to do with real Christianity. It, along with today's European royalties ancestors, only used Christianity as a cover to justify their ruthless grab at power.

Hitler was not a Christian of any denomination.

It's funny how both Christians and Atheists use Hitler to vilify the opposite side. Atheists find some quotes where Hitler makes reference to God and Divine Provenance to show that Christianity is responsible for World War II and the Holocaust. Then Christian Fundamentalists find some quotes where Hitler criticizes Christianity to prove that he was really an atheist and that atheism is responsible for World War II.

There are several lines of misinformation and fallacy involved.

The first is the ad hominem fallacy. Supposing that Hitler (or a serial killer, or a child molester) were a believing Christian, or claim to be one. Does the moral quality of a person who believes in something tell us anything about the truth or falsity of the belief itself? Of course not. Similarly, if Hitler or a serial killer happened to be atheists, that would tell us nothing about the truth or falsity of atheism.

The second is the issue of historical fact. Taken together (as opposed to each side's selective quotation), we know that Hitler made reference to God and that he had superstitious occult beliefs. That means that he was not a materialistic atheist like the Communists were. On the other hand, his anti-Christian statements make it clear that he wasn't a Christian either. Putting this together, Hitler was most likely some sort of pagan or deist with weird superstitious/occult beliefs. This makes him even more irrelevant as fodder for the Fundamentalists Creationism vs. Atheist Evolutionism websites that both use him in opposite ways to sell their cause.

According to Albert Speer, Hitler told him in private, “The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?”

Christianity’s core understanding, that Christ is necessary for salvation, has been portrayed as a path to Hitler for over 70 years in an effort to use people’s rejection of Hitler to get them to also reject the core understanding that Christ is necessary for salvation.

A few years ago I was visiting a family in the former Communist East Germany. It was a large family gathering (50+ people) to welcome a family member back from the states who left 20 years earlier when the wall came down.

There were several aunts in their 90’s who were singing beautiful Christian hymns, and their younger brother who was on a Panzer Tank crew during WWII started tearing up. He said that the hymn they were singing was the same hymn he sang during his induction ceremony into Hitler’s Army.

I never knew that Hitler sold the war as a Christian War until that moment. We talked about it for a while and he explained how Hitler made it easy to hate Jews as they killed Jesus.

Years ago, I debated a few blithering imbeciles here who insisted that Hitler and most other Nazis were Christians.

Facts and reason had no affect on their opinion.

If they are still here, they will be drawn like moths to a flame to this thread.

May 22, 1904: Fifteen-year-old Adolf Hitler is confirmed at Linz Cathedral on this Whit Sunday.35 Sponsored by Emmanuel Lugert, one of Alois’s former customs house colleagues (and pallbearer), Adolf refuses the offer of a watch as a confirmation gift, declaring that he already owns two watches. Lugert instead presents him with a prayer book, as well as a passbook to a savings account with a small balance. Lugert will recall Hitler’s ill-tempered behavior during and after the ceremony, declaring that he had never before or since sponsored such an ungrateful boy.36

Emmanuel Lugert was my relative. Story passed down was that Emmanuel literally dragged Hitler to the church by his ear.

Hitler was a socialist atheist as an adult. He gave all of his generals a copy of Nietzchie’s atheist apologetic “Thus Spake Zarathustra”. Further, in the book “Hitlers Table Talk” it reveals many quotes that show after the Jews, Hitler was going after Christians next.
