In general, animal sacrifice ended with the destruction of the Second Temple, for which prayer has been most widely substituted. There are those sects that continue the practice, but they are few and far between, mostly centered in Israel. I believe they’re wrong.
It’s said by many, though I’m not sure a majority, that when the Temple is reconstructed, animal sacrifice will continue.
I pray for the Temple, though not for the sacrifice of animals other than for food for the masses.
That makes more sense to me—thanks.

You are welcome friend.
The more we study Gods Word, the more questions we can ask.
Yes.....blood sacrifice is always offensive...we don't want to look on it.... as is the cross....and it was intended to be so because our sin is so dastardly, ugly and deadly against the Holiness of God.

In Scripture, the church is called *the Bride of Christ*, so in these parables, if the church age believers are the bride, then its OUR wedding.
I am not sure who the guests and the virgins are but it could not be us if the wedding is ours.
Thoughts?
In scripture, the church is also called the Body of Christ. 1 Cor 12:27
Adam had one rib removed and it was formed into His bride/ helpmate.
The bride is/was hidden within Adam’s body. Same pattern at the cross..
If He truly tells us the end from the beginning, then those who think they are the visible parts of His Body may not actually be His Bride.
She would come after the body falls asleep. Or she may actually stand outside of the body, maybe even today.
A pattern we saw with the first and last Adam on the 6th days when they finished their work and both fell asleep..
That His Mother says “Do whatever He tells you to!”
I don`t know but i think since God can read the hearts he knew that the man just came for nothing but the feast, there fore had no respect for the reason for the wedding.
I personally have known people who when settling down in a new community would join the most popular church for no other reason than to get acquainted so as to get a good job.
If so many are called, why are so few chosen?
