The teen-age shooter heard voices in his head, which he described as demons, instructing him to kill everyone he saw before him at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
That revelation by 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, whose Valentine’s Day massacre left 17 dead and 15 injured, was underreported by much of the mainstream media.
That’s because hardly any of those who reported the mass murder at Douglas High accept that the devil exists, and that his demonic forces are active and involved in the modern day affairs of humanity.
Indeed, fewer than one in ten “mainstream” journalists attend church or synagogue on a weekly basis, according to a Pew Research Center survey. Four of ten attend services a few times a year (mainly holidays) and 30 percent never attend at all.
That’s why the media ascribes Cruz’s Valentine’s Day massacre to “mental illness.” That’s why it blames “guns” for the carnage at Douglas High.
Yet, of the 43 million Americans who suffer from some mental illness or another – depression, bipolar disorder, fetal alcohol syndrome, schizophrenia, et al. – very few commit murder. And of the 53 million gun-owning households in America, the number responsible for mass shootings is far less than one in a million.
So why is it that Nikolas Cruz killed? Because he had no faith life. Because he spent no time in the presence of God. That made the troubled 19-year-old susceptible to demonic influence. That made him succumb to the voices in his head that urged him to kill.
His guardians, James and Kimberly Snead, told a local Florida newspaper yesterday, “We had this monster living under our roof and we didn’t know,” said Kimberly. “Everything everybody seems to know, we didn’t know,” said James.
Well, the Sneads bear no blame for having no idea of Cruz’s evil intentions. Indeed, even the best of parents or guardians – including those who are faithful, church-goers – are not omniscient when it comes to raising their children.
But God does expect parents (and guardians) to “train up a child in the way he should go,” as the book of Proverbs commands. He expects us instruct those living under our roof – be they children or 19-year-olds – in the ways of the Lord.
For the book of Hosea declares: “The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them.”
Nikolas Cruz, guilty of the worst school shooting since Sandy Hook, did not learn, the ways of the Lord. Otherwise, he would have called upon the Lord to rebuke the devil; to silence the demonic voices telling him to kill.
The Sneads would not have had a monster living under their roof, plotting mass murder. And 17 dead and 15 wounded in the Valentine’s Day massacre at Douglas High School would be alive and well today.
Mail robberies in the 1920s resulted in the Marines being called out lasting several years!
But in 2018 No Protection for American School Kid!
Nor Has The Call Gone Out For Volunteers (Guys/Gal w/Guns) though armed citizens are reportedly making a difference re shootings, robberies, etc. daily!

No, we are not. We are in a battle between lazy, fat, slobs (liberals) for parents versus the rest of that know better.
Don’t go blaming human failures on gods. It only gives humans an excuse and there is no excuse for being stupid and lazy.
The Devil shows up every day in the form of adults feeding children with Ritalin-type and SSRI drugs to keep them manageable in large groups, called day care centers and schools. All that for parents to have their careers....
First of all, you are giving an IMHO comment which I do respect.
Second, what you say is the result 50-60 years of cultural rot which has produced very rotten fruit indeed.
Third, if you are trying to attack me in a personal manner, you are forgiven.
Public schools run by government people who are either atheist of of a different denomination are no place for religion instruction or worship. Besides, nobody can take silent prayer out of anyone.
The actual problem is taking prayer out of the homes, using computers and video games to raise children, and making everyone a winner.
