I am a Christian. Yet, I was delighted when they took prayer out of public school. "How can that be?", you ask. Most of the kids made a mockery out of the process. When they read Bible passages they were almost always interpreted out of context. You see, I am a LCMS Lutheran who believes things somewhat differently than say a Presbyterian or a Methodist. I demand to worship with my own kind without people from other denominations interfering with me or even mocking The Word.

Public schools run by government people who are either atheist of of a different denomination are no place for religion instruction or worship. Besides, nobody can take silent prayer out of anyone.

The actual problem is taking prayer out of the homes, using computers and video games to raise children, and making everyone a winner.
