Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

In 1984, my late husband and I spent some time in Israel. It was the first time I had ever been anywhere outside of the USA, and we flew El-Al on a Jumbo Jet that was filled with a tour group of very Religious Orthodox Jewish People. Nearly everybody on the plane except the crew, my husband, and I, were dressed in black and wore hats.

During the 11 hour flight, I naturally dozed off, but at sunrise, I was awakened by a large amount of activity in the cabin. All the other occupants of the cabin were on ONE side of the aircraft, facing out the windows and rocking back and forth, praying out loud. Thinking that this was "THE END" I looked to the stewardess for instruction. She looked back at me and smiled and said, "Morning Prayer...No Problem."

For that moment in time, somewhere, over the Atlantic Ocean, Eight Miles High, the Jet was a Temple, and we were on "Holy Ground".

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR!

God Bless America!

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

This Symbol Represents Christians in The Middle East, who desperately need our Prayers.

Hallelujah and Amen

Now that is profound and merry. It has not only been Shabbat that has kept the Jewish people.

Another great story about the Holy Land and God’s chosen people.

Joining in prayer, left that other site, for the Peace of Jerusalem.

That's really cool, and on El-Al. Home is where the heart is, where the Beth-El of El is.
